Don't forget to appreciate the architecture of the building even if you don't plan to walk into the Grand Palais - The glass and steel roof is the largest of it's kind in Europe! Read more
Home to temporary exhibitions and big events (Chanel fashion show, Hermès horsejumping, art festivals ...) this end of 19th-century wonder is worth for its intricate glass roof alone.
It is an amazing world class museum . The Velázquez exhibition I watched today was as beautiful as the exterior of the building. Willing to visit again.
If you want to see several exhibits , get the carte sesame . It is way cheaper, you skip the lines , and you can go multiple times. WORTH IT
Hokusai exhibit allowed me to see Grand Palais for the first time. It is a gorgeous building. Worth a visit but exhibits here are crowded and that takes some of its charm away.
Check the online tickets and schedules before heading there. There is a place for keeping tour backpacks and coats during the time of your visit! Travel bags are not allowed in!
in the winter it is converted into an ice rink; tickets and shoes cost 15 euros. get there early!
Must keep an eye on season's exhibition.. changes around every 2 months. Worth buying the tickets online .
A lot of best expo and event in the heart of Paris!

Stunning, go and the exhibitions . This is the venue for all the amazing Chanel shows
Great exhibitions but they let too many people get in at the same time . Too noisy and crowdy to enjoy it plenty.
Like most the building in paris, this one has beautiful architecture too.
The interior didn't match the expectations set by the exterior... But the exhibition itself (Picasso.Mania) was excellent.

The Palais served as a military hospital during World War I, employing local artists that had not deployed to the front to decorate hospital rooms or to make moulds for prosthetic limbs.

Schaut mal rein : https://youtu.be/Nsuup9cmh8Q
