Probably everything, but we had a glazed donut and a voodoo donut . Both were fresh, doughy and not too sweet. The voodoo was chocolate covered and raspberry filled. Yum!
Our favorite: the Memphis Mafia Doughnut made of fried dough with banana chunks & cinnamon sugar covered in a glaze with chocolate frosting , peanut butter , peanuts & chocolate chips on top!
Normally places are like, "oh you're a vegan ? We have a dessert for you. I hope you like it. This is our only one." Voodoo makes a vegan verity of almost every menu item
Be prepared to wait in line for a bit in the mornings. It moves pretty quick and they do not run out. Just about any donut on the menu is good. Be careful, it's easy to over order. These donuts a huge
Lot of varieties of donuts , even some crazy ones haha definitely you need to try the maple one and Portland cream (it comes with lot of cream!!). They are big and the price is good! Plus, it's open 24
A number of locals told us to go to Blue Star instead. Of course we did both, and they’re both delicious, so don’t let anyone convince you to skip voodoo! ODB and voodoo donuts both were ????????
DO NOT PASS BY THIS PLACE DESPITE THE LINE ! It so sooooooooo worth it. I loved the chocolate Oreo peanut butter one. The voodoo doll was a little too sweet for me. Bacon maple bar was good too.
The curler cinnamon sugar donut tastes like a churro and the captain crunch and apple fritter is really good, the voodoo doll had WAY too much rasberry filling, awesome place though, really cool vibe.
Amazing and worth the wait! Take the time to read menu before you go and ur helps you choose better because it's overwhelming when faced with that much sugar. :)
Plenty of good fun here. Doughnuts are good but more importantly is the experience. Where else do you get to say your Mother ate a dirty old bastard?
Yeast dough is great so get a dozen and enjoy for the next 2 days. Captain crunch doughnut and 'no name' chocolate peanut butter doughnut are favorites.
My personal favorite is the McMinnville Cream (love the maple frosting and the cream filling - less cakey than the rest). The voodoo doll is a must-try, their jam filling is awesome.
Get any of the Oreos !!!!! They're amazing! Plenty of choices, and you can't go wrong with any of them. Cash only , long line , and yes, it's worth the wait! Couple of ATMs right next door (on SW 3rd).
Loved it. Great designs, and for a reasonable price especially for Portland. Unmistakable pink box, too! It's extremely busy so just be careful when you go, you might find yourself in a long line !
Take the Voodoo Tshirt challenge!! Visit all 3 locations in one day, bring in all the receipts to the final stop, and get a FREE TSHIRT!!! Voodoo, Voodoo Too, and Voodoo Tres (in Eugene)!
I debated with myself for 15 mins before stopping by Voodoo (did I need the extra sugar). And I’m glad I did! The Portland cream was delish as people praised it. The softest donuts I’ve eaten !
Memphis Mafia was a feat to finish, but man, it was INCREDIBLE. Despite the oodles of sugary goodness on top, the doughnut itself was the freshest I've ever had. Swallow your tourist-averse shame & GO
Vegan voodoo doughnut's do exist! Worth the wait in ninety degree broad sun, and yet no sun burn. It's a magical place, it even glitters.
Cool experience, great stuff. The pothole was amazing. Normally specialty doughnuts are expensive . Everything is priced right. Got two plus coffee for $6! Went at 11 on a Wednes, maybe a 5 minute wait
The maple bacon doughnut is awesome and I love the voodoo doughnut--yummy and fun. It's good to play with your food!
Voodoo pushes the limits with treats like the Voodoo Doll (with a pretzel stake to the heart), and less morbid options like cereal-topped fritters (Captain My Captain is covered with Cap’n Crunch).
Very unique and nice place. I loved the concept and creativity. Prices were reasonable. Tasty donuts . Just a few minutes in the waiting line but it was ok.
Open 24 hours a day, cash only . Check online ahead of time if possible for donut choices. Buying a dozen is your best bet considering the wait. The donuts are creative, tasty, & some are humerous.
Iconic place that is must see! It is well worth the wait in line , but they only take cash. Do not bring plastic there. Watch out for the panhandlers outside, they put a damper on our experience.
Voodoo doll - jelly filled chocolate covered yeast doughnut with a pretzel stake through the heart. You may need to wait on line but it moves fast.
The real donuts are at Blue Star . This one would be fun for kids due to all the vibrant colors and playful donut ideas...but they're just not nearly as tasty as Blue Star .
Long line (45 min total) Homer: simple, delicious. Dirt: good. MapleBacon: great flavor. PortlandCreme: loved it. TripleChoco: stale Cocoa Puffs, pass on this. VoodooDoll: good bt too sweet w/ filling
If you haven't been to Voodoo, you don't know what you're missing!! Doughnuts galore! Plus a great selection of vegan doughnuts !! Yum!
Memphis's mafia is a meal for 4 people, but so good! Old dirty bastard is delicious as well . Boyfriend loved Portland cream .
The donuts are definitely fun, weird, and ridiculous. Taste-wise? They're amazing! The line goes around the corner, cash only . But you can't visit Portland without dropping by! :)
If they have it, try the Homer Simpson (vanilla cake with a strawberry icing, I'm forgetting the other parts). Really hope it becomes a regular because it was delish!
In a town of donuts one of the best. Believe the hype the yeasty donut base is great.
The lines are long but it's worth it. The doughnuts are always fresh, but stay away from the cereal topped ones if stale cereal isn't your thing.
Worth the wait, Portland Creme is a classic, but be sure to try one of the unique creations like the dirty snowball
The Oreo doughnut was so good. Try to go at unusual times, or else do expect to have to queue

Too many to choose from. No line at 7:30am (go figure). The Bavarian cream filled and cake donut with sprinkles was top notch.
Waited for 45 min. to get in, but it's definitely worth the weight! Maple bacon donut kills. And you might want to keep the dope box!
I had a great mango doughnut . Long queue, but worth it. Watch out for homeless people outside though - we saw a woman try to forcibly reach into someone's box and help herself.
Weird and quirky, yes! BUT its not just a gimmick, these doughnuts are delicious and high quality! Loved the Raspberry Romeo jelly doughnut :)
Remember to wipe the both corners of you mouth after you devour them in a minute before you talk to people!! You will be look like a Dracula!!
the old fashioned donut with maple syrup was toooooooo sweet for me Orz i like cinnamon crueller better~ i thought it tasted like the french crueller of mister donuts with cinnamon
Long wait , but worthwhile. The ODB was fab. The dough itself is really the standout, so get whatever topping sounds tasty. I found the maple on the maple bacon to be too sweet.
This PDX favorite serves up doughnuts with names like "Dirt" and "Cock-n-Balls" (double cream filled) as well as a bacon-topped doughnut and several vegan specialties. - IFC Staff
Super creative donuts for hipster sensibilities. Def need that maple bacon next time
Get the “The Old Dirty Bastard,” a cholesterol-raising, decadent combination of chocolate , peanut butter and Oreos . Read more
PORTLAND / Be prepared and know your order or you'll experience doughnut-ordering anxiety. The Voodoo doughnut doll is a must!
It's nice to get a doughnut from here if you're looking for something unique to try. Keep in mind they aren't as good as people may lead you to believe.
It's the most popular because it's pretty good and stays weird. Just get anything weird.
Worth a little wait, very creative selection and cheap . Get more than you think you need.
In my top 5 for Doughnuts - Staff was friendly and location was clean and fun. - Glenn Mangold
Great place to head after visiting Powells. It's around the block and the coffee is simple and delicious. Check out the merch too! - Nina K
Excellent mini donuts, but also known for all of their chai offerings. Recently expanded their space, so much roomier. - Melissa Lim
THE ultimate brick and mortar (new and used) book store. The staff are extremely friendly & knowledgeable. The selection is huge. Free Wifi. - Dennis H.
