Carolina's Mexican Food

This place is all about the homemade flour tortillas and the machaca beef . I loved the Chinichangas. Fresh and not greasy at all!

This is one of those neighborhood gems . The building is rough but hasn’t changed, like a warm smile from an old friend. The Machaca Chimichanga is excellent, some of the best Mexican food in PHX!

Ignore all comments stating best torts in the valley, they are best on the planet! For nearly 20 years I've driven 27 miles one way for them and it was worth it every time.

Their chicken burro is amazing. Since the location is an old house, it's quite difficult to get around as a blind person. I'll go there again though, as the food is great.

The egg , chorizo & potato burrito is a great start to your morning, but @ roughly 820 calories I suggest eating only three-quarters to half of it to keep from feelin lethargic.

Believe the hype? Yes. Their chimichangas are straightforward deliciousness. And perfectly crisp chips . The horchata is also a necessity. No better lunch in Phoenix -- environment or food.

The flour tortillas are excellent and large. The chorizo and potatoes combination was spicy and filling.

The best tortillas west of the Mississippi...my mom has the best east of the Mississippi!!! When my sis Val came to visit, she took many dozen back to her home!!!

This is one great place. Doesn't look great, and in a neighborhood rather than in mainstream area, but they are busy! Buy 1 dozen tortilla 's at a price you won't believe.
