To correct some tips, you get a gorgeous view of the Snoqualmie Valley if you're in the front of the train . You see the falls , but the view of the valley is one you can't get elsewhere ~NWRM Conductor
The entire train crew is volunteer, so every penny of ticket sales goes to the museum for preservation efforts.
Check out Sandy Cove Park ...its about one block up and over...its super pretty and relaxing!!

The train ride is a little disappointing. While it does take you up to the falls , you don't get much of a view because there are too many trees and fences in the way.

The train ride is a complete waste of time and money. Don't do it. Do yourself a favor and drive the mile to the Falls . Terrible!
The RHC is accessed by taking a train on the weekends from Snoqualmie or North Bend. It's a great museum with restored equipment and model railroads. - John Gardiner IV

Great views of the waterfall available from a number of easily accessible viewpoints. The power company is working on the powerhouse above the falls, but the views and photo ops are still very good - ViatorStaff
