This place is beautiful. The trail on the hospital side of the road is about 7.2 miles and not super challenging (although not totally flat). Loved it.
Trail is very dog friendly . People love to hike with their dogs off leash here. There is even a beach for dos on the trail . All non-dog friendly people should find elsewhere to hike !!
The river is beautiful and the trail is well established and easy to follow.
If you don't like dogs, hike somewhere else! This trail is DOG FRIENDLY!!!
