With a bazillion places to eat all within a stone's throw from each other it can be hard to decide where to go. If you're in the mood for some solid Chilean fare, this spot is worth a try!
Lots of traditional Chilean food in a fun atmosphere . We even had live music ! The "pastel de choclo " is really nice! Avoid having a Pisco sour here, it's way too strong.
Get the Corn Pie ! (Pastel de choclo ). And give a bite to the friendly , patient pupp, if you're feeling kind ;)
Great for dinner late night . Mostly locals but also an English menu available. The corn pie and ceviche was really good. And the beer .
Loved the fish and spicy puree. Good servoce, nice terrace on the sidewalk. Their speciality is pastel de choclo (corn stew ) but it wasn't that special.
The pork is fantastic! In my opinion, Galindo is the best restaurant in Bellavista , the menu is great and you can find meat, chicken fish and pork as well .
My favorite Place to eat Chilean Food in Santiago. Love the pastel de Choclo
Excelentes las empanadas y la cerveza . Un lugar muy recomendable en Bellavista / A good place to go in Bellavista . You have to eat the dish called Chorrillana, it's amazing with beer !
Loved the fish and spicy puree. Good service , nice terrace on the sidewalk. Their speciality is pastel de choclo (corn stew ) but it wasn't that special.
It's authentic with friendly , helpful wait staff even though they are not conversant in English. Authentication , cosy atmosphere with pretty good food.
The Pastel de Choclo is huuugge. Enough for 3-4 people easily, if you order empanadas (the shrimp & cheese are best) or something else. Liking the local artisan beer selection !
Busy, so get there early (or plan to wait) for a table outside . Big portions ! Don't skip the micro-brews...perfect complement to the local cuisine .
Cadillo de Congrio is every bit amazing as Pablo Neruda's ode to it.
The bean soup (porotos ) is good during the winter. Cheapish good beer . Usually a bit of a wait before they can squeeze you into a table in the corner.
For chilean food this the place for us outsiders and even locals. We talked to some while eating. Pastel de choclo and empanada de pico are the must!
Get the Pastel de Choclo , amazing experience! Good food, great service and nice atmosphere.
Cheap and delicious. Recommended by several locals and I can recommend it too.
Pastel de choclo is great, but it's definitely for 2 people.
get the corn pie ! it's huge though - so make sure to split it amongst several people.
I had a great caldillo de congrio ! I recommend you to try!
Pastel de Choclo is very good albeit a bit sweet. The porotos granados are a great dish as well .
Try the pastel de choclo !

Vale a pena conhecer!
Van a volver.
Pastel de choclo muito bom e gigante! Também pedimos chuleta (bisteca ) de porco! Carne no ponto e suculenta. Vale a pena conhecer!

Try the Merluza A La Diabla - Grilled Merluza (fish), mariscos, picantitos and risotto. My friend Livia sent me this picture from Santiago, during her honeymoon. - Rafaella Arrais Nunes
Wide variety of restaurants here, live music and good wine. Most of them are very cozy and perfect for a meet-up with friends in the evening. Really worth a visit. - Emilio Borel
