It's a good thing that I do not live close to Bamboo Sushi because I would eat here every night. High grade sushi all around. Do not hesitate if you love sashimi , nigiri , maki , & American style rolls
High quality sushi . Sitting at the sushi bar is great. You get to chat with the chef and eat your sushi as it's ready. If your not quite full, it's easy to order more.
It's best to strike a balance between the cheapo sushi-train sushi and the quality sushi at Bamboo . If you're intimidated by the menu, take it a few rolls at a time. Start with the Green Machine .
The pork cheek was probably my favorite, although everything from the grill was great. The only criticism I have is that most things were a little on the sweet side. Take that as you will.
Skirt steak and Head cheese are a must. If you love dry flavorful sake order a Tin Man. and come on....live a little and share the Hibiki Whiskey Boudino for dessert
Overall a great meal. The black cod was "just okay". Great service and great fish
The silken tofu is a standout, as are the scallop , the smoked octopus , and the sweet shrimp yakumi .
Such good sushi . They're locally owned but have locations in the Pearl , SE, etc. The one in SE is consistently the best, but they're all yummy.
The Head Cheese will blow your mind. And the kimchi , oh the kimchi ... spicy perfection!
Order the omakase when sitting at the bar for an incredible, tailored experience!
Love this place. I really enjoy the yakumi menu.
Have the Green Machine with tuna , it is incredible.
