Spring and summer bring rattlesnakes, especially to the lower part of the park . Keep a close eye on where your dog is and avoid the temptation of going barefoot in the park .
There's an upper part and a wilder lower part. Be careful that you don't walk into Whiting Ranch with your dog by mistake or you will have to pay a $300 fine.
It's not a dog park , but you wouldn't know it...dogs everywhere!
