The seafood risotto is pretty good. The music is terrible. But the atmosphere and service are really good. Come here for cocktails and wine , and have a few starters.
Sea bass was excellent and they did not skimp on the seafood risotto . Service was great on a Sunday eve. Would def go again
Not had a bad meal here. Minute steak with frites an absolute steal for £12. Service has always been excellent on every visit.
Spacious , busy restaurant with attentive service . Had a well seasoned chicken schnitzel
Clad in boaty timbers and furnished with cast iron pillars, a stainless steel hover bar and a decked verandah, it is perfect for watching the world float by.
Fire sticks really nice - two was just enough. Really tasty.
Right on the waterfront of the floating harbour , this is a former boathouse designed, it is said, by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Service good. Fire sticks are excellent.
Great breakfast , friendly service & right on the river
Service a bit slow. £6.50 for 250ml ave wine excessive. Shld have been asked what I'd like to drink fairly soon after I sat down. Object to an 'optional 12.5%' ser charge which you have to opt out of.
The lamb wellington was lovely my compliments to the chef
If you like a quiet night out, avoid Saturdays, when it doubles as a busy, noisy cocktail bar , but for a bargain check in for the lunch special .
Oh dearie me what average food and yes, I have to say overpriced with such slow service. I was on lunch and it took forever. There are eateries abundant in this area so try one of them instead.
Ordered tuna and mozella panini and got given tuna and cheddar....nothing like cutting corners
Last time here was 2011. Hope steaks just as good. Just met Sam the Major.
They make the music far too loud way earlier than is appropriate for a restaurant .
Average burger to be honest. Chips were really underdone. Bit meh but service was good
Lovely food, recommend the duck ! Sit on the terrace if you can
Good food. Quite varied menu not too expensive . Outdoor seating overlooking the harbour .
When you order a cappuccino , you get a little choc truffle with it :-)
Pretty bland food, service was reasonably quick, altho only 3 other tables with people on - took a good half an hour to order though.

Wouldn't bother with this place. Over-priced and incredibly slow service. Lamb was supposed to be pink; completely over-cooked!

I have never been somewhere that has such bad service and charges so much!!!!
Beef screwed was horrible. Couldn't eat it! :( for a signature dish it was quite disappointing!
They know why they asked if we were finished and not if we liked. Don't go.
Pre order the service is slow
Found a hair in my food, shocking service. Waited ages for drinks and really expensive cider !
Don't bother. Service is shocking; waited an hour for food!
Food is very mediocre, service slow. The view 's good though!
Service extremely poor. Food ok.
Very cozy and trendy. Great place to go for a coffee, lunch, Sunday lunch or just a drink. Love the decor and perfect spot if you work in the centre of Bristol. - Mark Andres
The venison. Get the venison. I really can't stress this enough - Matt Parsons
Beautiful food, fantastic interior and amazing outside space for a sunny lunchtime or evening. - Ross Merritt

Impressive seasonal menu, beautiful setting by the water, particularly delicious wines and really nice bar area. - Hope Aitchison
