Concourse A

Delta always does a terminal right. Clean , spacious , modern, easy to get around with moving walkways and the tram , and plenty of food and shopping.

It’s about a mile and a half from one end to the other but with the moving walkways you can make it in less than 10 minutes.

The biggest terminal. Tram is key for distant gates. Tunnel to B/C concourses and fountain is in middle. “Food courts ” are at either end. Dining and shopping is spread throughout.

Vino Volo have a trio wine tasting if you're ole enough or inclined. Have great small bites too. Beat food in Te airport imo!

To make the light show work in tunnel between concourse A & B, push button by escalator on A side. Just green otherwise.

Detroit might struggle but this is one of the nicest terminals in the country !

Stop by Online Cafe for a Schwarma plate or a Bloody Mary featuring homemade infused vodka and Zing Zang.

Good IPA selection at Slapshotz. Short 's included.

One of the few US airports that doesn't treat passengers like cattle.

Waterworks Grill. 3 egg omelette . It will tide you over for an entire day. So you can focus on getting home, canceled flight be damned!

Delta flies some ~40 year old DC-9's in and out of here. Neat place to see a little bit of history that will soon be gone.

Clean and quiet

If you need to charge your phone there are outlets at the pay phone booths . Be careful though because some of them don't work so you may have to go to a few different booths to find a working one.

Power outlets are in the pillars near the gates.

Going from B to A is cool blue green lit walking! Like an aquarium .

Avoid the sports bar at the entrance. Poor food and service. Much better choices down the concourse.

Take the tram from the ends

A good place to take a shit.

PB&J by the low A's. Quick and delicious.

Listen for screetching birds by the fountain .

Yum Popeyes. It always hits the spot.
