This Times Square bar has a broad selection of Irish food , and serves as the definite spot for watching legendary tennis and enjoying a Heineken .
Best thing to honestly get is the Playwright Medley. Its the perfect appetizer platter and worth the price.
If ever I return to NYC this will be my first stop. Friendly and funny staff and potato skins were great but the Guinness was like Nectar .
Central location and the price is right. Try the Irish burger - it's so good! ???? ???? ???? ????
Great place to grab lunch and use the bathroom between Big Bus Tours . The jerk chicken wrap was tasty.
The Oscar Wilde burger is incredible. Hand pattied burger , portobello mushroom , cheese , huge
Monday thru Friday! Our Happy Hour is perfect for friends and co-workers!
I had dealt with art snobs at my gallery job but the juxtaposition of this concept, neighborhood and whatever I seemed to be, threatening the manager so much as to not serve me...New Yorkers no?
Sunday nights, check out The Turn who will play any song you ask...except for The Eagles
I checked in here and won a beer !!! It's totally true! Good for you guys, now I love this place!
codfish was delicious but the atmosphere creates a kind of claustrophobia
If you don't dislike mushrooms then the mushroom caps are definitely the way to go.
I don't know. I was not given a chance, but I'm seeing now in reviews where it is kind of a tourist prop? I had just gotten off work.10pm asked if the kitchen was open and was treated asif I had 3 hds
I wasnt given a chance to try anything.
Yummy chicken tenders !! The building is so cool; looks like Ireland!;)
Trying not to be overly critical here but this is your run of the mill bar in midtown. I wouldn't recommend to go here but I wouldn't advise to actively avoid either. More expensive than it deserves.
Fish and chips were lovely. Pair with a cider and all is good
Watch and listen to world cup games from the street!
This place was great and the bartender was very nice and friendly .
Guinness was sour, so was the bartender . Pass, you can do better even in Times Square.
Great first stop at NYC Times Square.
"the most important things to do in the world are to get something to eat, something to drink, and somebody to love you." - Brendan francis behan
Skip chicken fingers . Huge globs of rubber. Fries were awesome.
Happy Hour food specials!
great place to get good, different varieties of beers and a great place to watch the UFC fights.
Very nice batter on the fish !
Decent midtown Irish bar . Everything’s good enough and with decent sports coverage, but nothing to get excited about.
Drink the Blue Moon beer !!! It tastes wonderful.
This might be the last time I come. Bug in my water, hair in my food. The waitstaff wasn’t super friendly and the fish & chips I got seemed to be re-fried and too hard.
Excellent service & food!
Burger , fish n chips , shep pie , chicken pot pie , or sampler. Say hi to Jimmy on you're way in
Shepherds pie was ok, typical pub fare , nothing impressive
The irish chicken gets two pinky rings & thumbs up
A good place to get drunk.
Smithwicks red ale !!! Wifi is playwright
The James Joyce Burger , yes please. $7 beers , but hey, that's Times Square for ya.
Shepherds Pie is delish.
Beer is good. Service does the best they can (hopefully) but fails. Food sucks hairy beanbag. Ketchup is generic no label paint thinner. Net - net over priced waste of time. Pathetic experience.
Don't get corned beef if you are not Irish!
Cajun fries and camimari! Pretty relaxed upstairs
The Shepard's Pie is delicious!
Roast beef sandwitchwes are great!
Too crowded downstairs? Venture upstairs for more places to sit and have a drink!
Order the Shepherd's Pie , it's superb!
great French onion soup
Ask to be seated upstairs for a drink and dessert after a show.
Chicken Fingers are awesome
Most amazing food! Don't bother with the other Pubs .
try the fish and chips , they're amazing!
With Rachel Conforti and Mark Emery, taking a break from IAB.
Authentic and filled with character. Dark or lite can't go wrong with their ale. Slainte! - Anna
Great bar. Relaxed atmosphere. The bartenders are nice. Try the house ale. - Calvin Multanen
Always my favourite place to be when I am in NY. Love the dynamic. - Atika Al-Bimani
Delightful atmosphere and wine served in sippy cups. Great fun. - Fifi Ström
Medium-sized venue. Seating can be tight, but great sight line all around. Two drink minimum per person. - Alice Ng
