I need to qualify this tip. I love the old style décor of this place. It's definitely unique and worth a few extra bucks over a chain hotel . However, you will break you knee caps on the bed frame!
The hotel is really cute I wish I would have seen the tips about knees on the bedpost because I just slammed mine into it and I wanna die
Tons of character and a fun experience. Friendly staff . Gripe: stuffy air quality and loud air conditioner.
This hotel is absolutely stunning. The lobby is elegant and beautiful. The tavern in the hotel is easy accessible to the public as well , so even if you are not staying you can enjoy.
Great hotel and reasonably priced for the area. Watch your knees and shins on the bed's foot posts - left with bruises from running into them.
The curtains are so thick that we thought it was 4am when in fact it was 8:30. Be sure to set an alarm! Also, motion detecting bath light is obnoxious & wakes up everyone in the night.
Get one of the tables near the stone fireplace in the Restaurant at the Cheshire for a warm dining experience, and for a bit of theater if you order creme brulee . (Evan S. Benn) Read more
One of the best things about The Cheshire is that Ricky works there! He really makes people feel like valued guests and makes sure they feel right at home and have everything they need.
Take 4 pillows and stuff them under the corners of the mattress. It's good for your knees and will save your knee caps .
You can override the obnoxious bathroom lights by removing the plastic sensor cover and adjusting the delay (look on inside of cover)
Fresh hot cocoa or cider in the lobby with real whipped cream and chocolate shavings ..yumm!
Love this hotel ! Can't wait to come back. Super cozy with great service
Wonderful hotel but our first visit was upset by a 1am physical sex session and a 630am fire alarm malfunction. We will give it another try though.
For $30 in food and drink you can hang out at the pool all day.
I absolutely hate the rooms here. You will without doubt both break your toes and bruise your knees every time you walk by the beds!!! Crap my toe hurts!!!!!! Wifi is awful too....
Really cool bar area!
Great hotel , but watch your knees on the bedposts.
The motion sensor bathroom lights are obnoxious!
Nice place. Slow elevators .
Almost open! Just a couple more weeks! I cannot wait!
Dirty room. Beautiful main areas. Disappointing.
It's tapas style so be ready to share! The food is really unique, tasty and best of all local. Charcuterie, Mac and Cheese and the Poutine were good on this stormy night. - Adam Lorentzen
