Oh how I love Mad Mex. Been going there since 2005. Half off after 11 on giant margaritas and entrees. A huge fan of the steak burrito with extra protein (tofu ) I love the black bean dip .

I anticipate this time every year when Mad Mex releases Dos Decadas! The IPA it started on its 20th anniversary (hence the name Two Decades). It's a limited release. So if you're an IPA person..GO!

One of the best places ive ever been in this city too by far. I loved the food and the drinks were very very good. I will most certainly come back for the same experience an enjoy a amazing evening.

This location is much better than the one in Oakland. Good service , yummy food. Big azz margs are the way to go. Their queso is also A+.

My go to meal is the happy hippie quesadilla . It's a bit spicy for my taste, but worth it! Can't come here without pick a dip of hummus and guacamole and salsa !

If you are here for happy hour , it's cheaper by the ounce to get the Little Butt margarita than the Big Azz size.

Pineapple habanero salsa is fantastic!!! Great guac and margaritas too. Bar bacon tacos are packed with flavor. Skip the crab quesadilla and cheese dip .

The Shadyside location is less ridiculously busy than the Oakland one and more happening than the Monroeville one. It's my favorite of the three!

One great thing is that their wings have next to no breading . You're missing out if you don't try them. Go with the southwestern sauce.

The crusted fish tacos are simply amazing!! I get extra spicy mayo and add sour cream with a lime twist. YUMMM!!!

Best beer selection of all the Mad Mex locations. Beer is always fresh also, since they're always busy.

The enchiladas stress test the plate with layers of white corn tortillas , Colorado Sauce and/or Green Sauce and with Jack cheese aplenty. Rice and beans, lettuce and salsa on the side of course.

The pepitas hummus is the best hummus I've ever had. Tastes like edamame hummus/pesto. Also, the burritos are HUGE.

Get the gobblerito in October and November! Thanksgiving dinner in a burrito .

Great for toddlers! Great draft beer list . If sitting near open window or outside you may be in for some cigarette smoke....

There’s more craft beer here than you could possibly drink. Check back frequently, the draft list is constantly changing to suit your inner beer geek.

Try gobblerito ! Beef fajitas were great too. Guacamole was great, but cheese and salsa sips weren’t too good.

Good food! Not so great service. We were rushed to place our order and ignored half the time. Our waitress came over and asked us if we could help her with our change for the bill as well . Seriously!?

The tortilla soup’s been taking the edge off our tortilla chips since ’93. Tomato and chile with grilled chicken topped with cheese and crispy tortilla chips . Wow.
