Happy hour was great. Try the cheese steak egg rolls .. Stick with the bar food and burgers for dinner Steak and flounder was bland and very fair only.
PVT was on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" for it's snapper soup & homemade ravioli , but I personally suggest a big old honkin' rack of ribs and a draught beer !
They have great Buffalo wings and Danielle at the back bar makes outstanding Martinis .
Snapper soup , buffalo egg rolls & Crab cakes are killer! Now, I can appreciate the work that goes into homemade meat ravioli and I could have caught them on a bad night but mine had no flavor! At all!
Built in 1742, it still feels like if you squint just right, you can see Ben Franklin and George Washington hoisting tankards in the corner—only without all the fakeness of drinking at City Tavern.
Don't be weirded out by the fact that snapper soup is turtle--it's a MUST TRY! So yummy!!
Cowboy Burger . Gooood. Waitress a little green. The dark kitschy tavern side is much cozier than the bright white formal dining area.
