Seeing as you're here, I suggest you take a cool refreshing dip in the creek. On an incoming tide it's fun to float down the creek from the river mouth. Try it!
Hire a ski and paddle across to the small beach on the far side. You can swing into the creek off the big old tree using the rope/stick ladder - just not at low tide.
Hire a stand up paddle board from near the bridge . So much fun.
My dog loves walking around the area and swimming in the creek :-)
Great park for picnic and swim in the river
A nice beach with a beautiful backdrop. Paddleboards and canoes for hire on the tourist park side ???? - Rob Nicholson
Grab your fishing rod and cast off the old Barney's Point Bridge. Don't forget to pick up your fishing license from the BP. - Joel Joyce
