Steins Beer Garden

A beautiful and massive beer hall with a gorgeous patio . The food is no pub grub. 31 craft beers are on tap and go perfectly with the exceptional house-made soft pretzel .

I think a lot of the complaints about service were from when this place first opened. Now that the initial rush is over, things seem to have smoothed out a lot and I always have a good time here.

In a party of 10-12. Two of us tried one of every cocktail on the menu-they were wonderful. Beer samplers for the rest. Pulled Pork Sliders & Sausage Corn Dogs , both were very good and well presented.

On the happy hour menu : pastrami pork belly beer puffs. Best thing we have ever eaten! House made corn nuts are also fun. Come early. This place is quite popular.

Love this place! Always crowded . Happy hour is great! Pretty much everything on the happy hour menu is delicious including the drinks. The fruity beer flight was worth a try ????

This place was way different than I was expecting in a good way. The food was awesome. We ordered a bunch of different things for the table to split. Pork sliders and the mac and cheese are great!

Campfire Stout is awesome, definitely worth a try! The French Dip was solid as well . This place is great with a bunch of friends, nice open atmosphere and attentive waiters .

The draft beer selection is unparalleled in Mountain View. The ambience and noise levels are great. And the outside patio is a nice plus. The food is expensive and definitely drives up the bill.

You'll never again be satisfied with In 'n Out's fries after trying Stein's fresh hand cut double-fried french fries !

Great beer selection including a ton of local brews . And on the entrees, the plates make the dish look small, but they are still filling.

Wide selection of craft beers on a rotating tap. Something new to try every time I stop by! Great burgers and fries too.

Truffle fries , Mountain View Mule , fruit beers (all of them) and lots of their staples and rotating beers . Great hangout spot !

Brunch here is fantastic. Try the corned beef hash and eggs . Plenty of room inside and outdoor seating is great.

This place awesome for groups. They have a good selection of beer . I like their fried chicken strips and smoke salmon salad .

Awesome beer and awesome food (all made from scratch). It can get a little busy but it's worth the wait, trust me.

the beer list is the best in greater mountain view, the burgers are all that, the architecture is late quonset hut. all good!

Go to the bar or patio . Do not bother waiting for a table. The service is nonexistent and the main course was decent. Beer , bartenders and appetizers however were amazing!

Brunch was on point! And don’t even get me started on their Bellini flight. You won’t regret it. ????

Great collection of beer ! Do try the Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen - a German wheat beer variety if you're into wheat beers .

Great beer . The outdoor patio gets packed, but super nice. A bit of wait for a table, but worth it- the food is fresh.

Beers , lots of them; some rival great wines (in price, too). Good selection of food, too. Patio is very nice in the summer.

Excellent managers, bartenders and servers. But cooks took 45 min for a burger and over cooked it to super well done when I asked for med rare. Front of the house took very good care of that and me.

I really wish they offer Hoegaarden here, but they don't, :( so I order the Heife instead. Good enough. Can get relatively busy so try to come in early or make a reservation !

The $10 dark beer flight comes with some strong (~10%) beers .

Big brand new place, that tries hard to be a beer garden but I till appreciate their menu. Other than that I just go for the patio space .

*Definitely* get the truffle and parmesan kennebec fries . They go great with all the beer (I enjoyed the Cali Coast with my fries ).

Favorite menu item I tried was the mini corn dog brats . And the doughnut for dessert . Everything else average. Lovely atmosphere though.

Outside seating in the summer is a great option. The fried chicken sandwich is excellent but should be eaten while hot.

Good for large groups. Good hard liquor and beer selection . Big outdoor patio .

This place is nice, but mis-named. Yes, there is a garden , and yes, you can drink beer , but there are no steins to drink the beer from. Rather, you drink from mugs, glasses and maßes. But not steins.

Service is always horrible. Go with tons of patience and just enjoy the beautiful patio , food, and bevvies.

Good burger . Good selection of hot and other dipping sauces for the chicken appetizer .

Great selection of beers . If you get the chicken strips be very afraid of the hot sauce .

The service here during lunch is still sub-par, but the draught beer selection almost compensates for it. Oh, and they’re started to skimp on the Ahi salad , so try something else.

Truffle fries are great; lamb meat balls , and deviled eggs are a little too salty but still good.

The curieux beer is my favorite! It's a triple with 11% abv and it's delicious!!

Ordered the Breaded Pork chop , Truffle Fries , Fruit Beer Flight and they were good!
