When I was a kid in the 80s they had a lot more here. Bumper cars and a dark ride. Those are now gone and it’s a museum .
Fun to walk around but the rides are so expensive for such a short amount of time. We kayaked in from Newport and had a blast!
Ferris wheel, arcade, ice cream shops, churros. This is a nice place to visit, with plenty of parking lots and spaces within walking distance.
Love the variety of games for the kids, scenic view , plenty of shops, and restaurants to choose from. Be cautious because parking in some sections is only for a limited time, and they do ticket!
Ferris wheel rides, arcade games , fun foods and shopping! The waterfront zone is a starting point for exploring a great town and beach .
Of course the ferris wheel has great views of bay and ocean. New hit is Ocean Motion bungee trampoline .
The Big Bass Wheel Pro is your best baby for your buck. But 1,000 tickets gets you a crappy $2 toy !
Fun stop if in the area and riding bikes . Not a destination spot!
Balboa Fun Zone 21 minutes to the south of Newport Beach dentist John B Chrispens DDS
The rides are super fun...buy the all day pass if you are here for awhile, well worth it
Nice selection of rides. Order the frozen banana ???? .
If you get here before 2 you can get an extra 1/2 hour on the boat rental for free!!
best guilty pleasure food can be found here, cheesecake on a stick with rainbow sprinkles on top!
A good reference point for the area.
The arcade games take quarters only, no tokens to play.
A couple fun rides and arcades .
Make sure to bring a hot chick!
More like the "not so fun zone" ever since they took out the bumper cars and put in a museum
Bring your own booze for the cruise !
Don't eat the ice cream from the Asian lady. I found her hair in the ice cream and she just laughed........
Try a Balboa bar .
Ferry is fun!
Spinning the big wheel for four tokens gets you the most tickets. $10 got me $2 worth of worthless crap! #winning - Marc Levin
Nice, clean park! Pristine baseball fields! - Stacey~Marie
Lots of good kid friendly beach area with great pic opportunities on the pier. Tons of shopping too. - Jeremy Anslow
Make sure to sign up for their email club....the offers are the best!! $14 adult...our afternoon captian went above and beyond. So much so, we saw a adult and baby Fin Whale. - Dawn Mercado Becker
Very nice place to walk and enjoy a ???? sunset....lots of nice shops! And boats parties! :) - Paula Rodriguez M
