The beet home fries were a bit salty, but still a must-try if you love beets . The tori meshi (chicken karage ) was so yummy as was the brussel sprout salad . Omg that salad was so amazing.
This trailer, on the back patio at Liberty, is an Asian fusion treasure. The gourmet yet budget-friendly menu includes the Poor Qui’s Buns and Fried Brussels Sprout Salad . We bow to the beet fries .
This place is seriously delicious! The menu is an explosive Asian/American fusion. Great for vegans too! I found it here on supper: http://supper.mx/places/east-side-king-the-liberty-austin/
This is the kind of place where it is nigh impossible to go wrong. We had the tongue buns , pork belly buns , and the beet fries and they were all outstanding. Lives up to the hype--go now!
BEST Asian food truck in town - hands down. Try the beet fries , brussel sprout salad and poor qui buns for a party in your mouth and wash it all down with a cold brew from the bar !
Chicken and Brussels sprouts are the best bet. Beets are decent too. Skip the pork bun . Also recommend the Party Rattler from the bar inside (staff favorite)
Believe the hype. This place makes some excellent food. To get in you have to get through the Liberty first. Try the Chicken Buns . You won't regret it.
The pork belly dish and Brussel sprout salad are to die for!! Love the concept of this place and the food truck in the back patio
Tongue bun will melt in your mouth. Fried chicken & mint cilantro rice was delish. Fried beet cubes are over-rated unless you are a beet fan.
The cash-only first location of this stand behind Liberty has become a bit of an East Sixth legend, counting Anthony Bourdain among the many fans of its Asian-inspired street food . [Eater 38 Member] Read more
This is the original flagship location, but you can find a more low key set up over at The Grackle at 6th and Chambers. This is truly the end all be all when it comes to Asian fusion .
Poor Qui's Buns : The most standard item on the menu, but executed flawlessly. Tender slabs of pork belly seared on the griddle until crisp, stuffed into a bun with hoisin sauce and pickled cucumbers .
Beet fries , tori meshi , pork belly buns and a guaranteed good time.
This is the spot that both Food Network and Travel Channel chose to feature when they filmed in Austin! We like the unique flavor of the tongue buns and the cheap prices across the board. Read more

Get the tongue (#10) and the beet fries . Every time. Everyone will love you, you will love yourself. Every time.
Try the chicken katsu meshi, unless you're vegetarian , in which case the vegetarian mashi is pretty great, too.
Try the tongue bun . Perfect balance of crisp exterior and tender inside, bursting with flavor! They also accept credit cards now.
Get the fried beets with the sriracha mayo . Or the peanut butter curry . You won't be disappointed with any of the creative offerings. I hear the fried brussel sprouts are good too. Next visit :)
You can't go wrong with any of the East Side King locations...definitely Austin's food truck all-stars. The Chicken Karaage knocks it out of the park .
Eat the tori meshi . If you don't, you will have to live with that regret your whole life.
Freaking amazing! No. 1 through 4 amazing. Perfect for late night cravings.
Avocado bun is yum for non-meat eaters ????????
Order one of everything on the menu - you will not be disappointed

The curry buns -- with peanut butter curry -- are phenomenal. Also try Derek's Favorite Chicken Buns and the Por Qui Buns .
Brussel sprout salad is killer! Pork belly is a fine choice too.
I was surprised about the hype this place gets. The pork buns are pricey for the portions. Cute outdoor area , but I wouldn't call it an Austin must-do.
Good for lunch or late night - ramen shop belonging to the dude who won Top Chef
The curry buns are delicious, but near the end can get to be a bit sweet!
The best late-night food in Austin.

ESK makes Brussels sprouts taste good! Didn't know it was possible.
The crispy pork belly buns are too hard to eat. Try something else, like the brussels sprouts or the karaage chicken with rice .
