Smith Tower

Smith Tower, Seattle's first skyscraper , was the brainchild of gun and typewriter manufacturing heir Burns Smith, who planned to build the tallest building outside of New York.

There’s a fun exhibit & the observatory views are great, but I’m not sure it’s worth the full admission price. It’s free if you show same-day tickets for a sporting event - it’s a great time to go!

Not only great views of Rainier and the Olympics, but also of Pioneer Square and Int'l District. Note the educational signs to learn about the neighborhood . Surprisingly no wait on a Friday afternoon

Very, very much worth a visit. Especially if you've never been. For a small amount of money, you get a ticket to cool observation deck at the top.

Smith Tower was so cool, it was my absolute favorite thing we did while visiting Seattle! Order a Rainier while looking at Rainier for a discount !

It's about $12 to travel through the museum up to the viewing deck and whiskey bar at the top - great views of the city .

We dare you to count the carved Indian heads in the lobby of the Smith Tower Observation Tower, take the antique elevators to the deck and make a wish on the Wishing Chair .

Head to the observation deck of this historic building from 1914 for a breathtaking view of the Olympic Ranges and Elliott Bay .

Take their hundred year old elevator to the 35th floor and enjoy a scenic view of Seattle .

Architecture and interiors are instagram-heaven! Pay the $7.50 and pay the intricate Chinese Room a visit!

The view is nice and don't forget to visit and sits in the wishing chair for the single ladies.

Wonderful view , 360° outside walk way. Oldest skyscraper in Seattle. Expensive parking in nearby lots or metered curb side.

Good building but the area around really ghetto
