Nice wee pub that shows sky sports . Not too busy (Sunday afternoon) but a nice wee atmosphere. There is a breakfast/lunch & cocktails menu .. Will definitely be back again.
Ryrie's was taken over and refurbished in July 2013... Its a great bar with history and character oozing from its walls! Fresh home cooked food served daily.. six cask ales .. huge whisky selection..
Budget lunch : 2 course for £5. Good selection of beers and whisky . Looks like a proper Scottish pub !
Feels like authentic pub with excellent MacEwans Scottish ale . Those who complain about service and dirtiness do not understand the idea of the true pub .
Plug sockets at every table down the end.
The place is really dilapidated. The beer , however, is nice and the staff were friendly
Breakfast served daily
Great pub but a wee bit scruffy.
A really basic pub . Nothing especially good, nothing especially bad.
A hip hangout for roguish facial hair wearers.
Ryries used to be great but is now a pretty grubby and unwelcoming bar .
I do not recommend this place. At 8pm we were refused to order dinner .
Deliciosa comida y muy bien de precio. Dos platos por 5 libras.
Pub auténtico con personal simpático frecuentado por gente de Edimburgo. Música ambiental rockera, buena cerveza y precios razonables. Muy recomendable!
Brilliant food with absolutely gigantic portions. Adobe interesting ales as well, underrated pub (even though it's a chain pub) - Jimmy Angelakos
Really nice place. Pricey I could say, but totally worth a visit. (8/10) - Antonis K.
Great beer and food, such a historic and well kept traditional pub, a real Edinburgh gem - Derek Watson
Best place for football and atmosphere in the East of Scotland - worth watching the Jambos if you're a neutral - Iain M
Great value for money!!! The do a superb breakfast and they also have a great range of food on the main menu. - Joanne Middlemass
