You really can't get closer to the beach than Carperteria. Pets can't go on state campground beaches , but go to the Tar Pit park next door and your pooch can run loose on the beach !
Traveling with you and a friend? Pack light, take the train , and use the hike/bike. No reservations , but also no commitment there's a spot.
There is a huge raccoon problem here! Do not leave any food out or they will get it!! No joke! Other then that the campground is in perfect location right next to the beach ! :)

Don't camp in space 111 unless u like the strong smell of yewculupus trees !!! Otherwise it's a fabulous place to camp dry or hookups!
