Albert Paley's Odyssey

This art is soo ugly, it looks like Edward Scissorhands , except even Johnny Depp had a better looking set. Who in the world thought this was a good idea lol...

Yet to find a resident who likes it. Why they couldn't commission a local artist to do it and keep the money local, no one knows.

The installation, Odyssey, by Paley consists of four mixed metal statues . Stainless, weathering, bronze plated steal sculptures at each point creating an experience drivers will not forget. No WTC!

The name is way less cool now. Don't even want to keep mayorship. Now the question... To continue to point whore this place or stop checking in here................

I grew up in Council Bluffs, left to join the army before this monster was built. I got wounded in combat, spent months in the hospital and how am I greeted when I come home? Big ugly Communist art !

it really isnt that ugly. i think that there is probably something else that might look cooler there. im happy we have something that is cool even if you dont get it.

The metal was paid by the casinos to an artist named Albert Paley from New York but the metal is NOT.

If the movie Saw were a bridge , it would look just like this one.
