This is a hidden gem ! Go EARLY and grab a seat at the bar . Get a giant bowl of Steamed Clams ! If there is a wait you can hang out next door at the Cornell Winery .

Make a reservation for a weekend dinner because seats fill up fast! Portions are GENEROUS, everything was tasty, and the musicians roaming the eclectic room were a fun addition.

We found this spot through Yelp on our way to Malibu Wines . We shared the steak sandwich & chicken sandwich & for dessert we had the Homemade Fruit Cobbler with hand whipped cream . Yes that delicious!

All the food is excellent, filling and tasty. The steaks are terrific. But what sets this place apart is its atmosphere, beautifully rustic , friendly and fun.

The blue corn pancakes may have been the best pancakes I have ever had. The add-on berries made them perfect.

Check their website for seating times. Do not be late. Extremely popular due it's history, vibe, food, and mega cool experience!

The ribeye & chocolate chip cookie . Everything is good here, but the people that work here may be the best part. They make you feel like family & set the atmosphere just right.

Beef stew with mash , steak and for desert the Egg Nog Cheesecake (very Christmassy) service was excellent and friendly , reserve a place, unless you turn up at 4pm.

I had scallops and shared prime rib & jadori chicken ... prolly the best I've had in ages. small duo was playing music , very impressed & away from it all.

Well worth the wait for an enormous sirloin or ribeye . Plan to take a piece of meat home.

Awesome Place For Sunday Brunch . Show up before they open to get a seat and order the Cinnamon Rolls . 

If you have a party of four or more you should make a reservation , even in the morning! Else it's the bar or a wait for you.

Opened in 1970 by the man who owned the restaurant Holiday House in Malibu (what is now Geoffrey's).

Oak-grilled Ribeye was the worth the wait. But it was a long wait .

Lively , lovely, an experience. The food isn't too bad either.

The clams are delicious as are the sauté mushrooms ,

The steak sandwich is a must.

Love the old mail room for entertaining

One of my favorite Twin Peaks filming locations, the rustic interior of this family restaurant was used for the Bookhouse. Try the creamed corn !

Great Place...highly recommend!

Love this place. The chicken pot pie here is perfectly portioned and comes in it's own griddle. I am totally in love with their uber gooey cookie for two. Melts in your mouth. Handmade whipped cream .

Tasty frittatas and great selection of wines !! Amazing ambiance, ideal for couples and groups, although reservations are tough..
