South Street Brewery

South Street has reopened. If you haven't been back here's the skinny: Beer is better, more variety. It's restaurant now, don't expect to close the place down at 2am.

Great craft beer , great service, great food! My favorite is the Bar Hopper IPA , about a 60 IIBU. The Bartenders and the manager Seth is super friendly & customer focused. My favorite Cville Brew..

The avocado sandwich was amazing. The new atmosphere took some getting used to. Not the dark and cozy place it used to be. The beer is good and the food was on point. That's all that matters.

The brews here are pretty solid (as in I would readily choose to drink them in the future), but none really blew my doors off. Standouts were Hop Gothic and Ceres Nebula. The service was excellent.

The bbq pizza was something to remember!! The staff was super nice, especially during the busy Saturday night that I was there! The Virginia Lager was great as well !

If you visit Charlottesville, you HAVE to try SouthStreet! Try the goat cheese pastry appetizer and a Satan's Pony brew. Great food, good beer , and a great atmosphere!

The amazing pretzels left with the last owners. Try the cheese curds instead.

Love the fact they serve Virginia wine ! The Toasted Avocado Sandwich is fantastic.

Came in for an early dinner and food came out very slow. Worth the wait! Beer sampler is a fun beverage choice.

One of the best places to get amazing ribs ! Soo good.

They have a really awesome bottomless bloody mary bar .

If there is an American express checkin special don't do it. The brewery doesn't take Amex.

The check in special doesn't exist! The service takes forever you have to get up and say you're ready to order! They charge you extra for condiments and they don't validate parking .

As a beer snob, this place is heaven.

The beer isn't that good. Infact it's awful, however the atmosphere and the people make up for it.

There is *much* better beer in this town .
