Parking is ridiculous though. You either pay a fortune or walk really far. The main reason I'll go to long sands instead is because I don't want to deal with the parking !
The best beach in New England. That isn't up for debate. Go to section G (past the first catwalk) if you want to avoid families with screaming children.
This is the perfect place to spend a few hours in the sun, not too crowded , lots of space for a long walk.
Parking is very difficult. Be prepared to get going early, and pay for the day..but it is worth it! So much to see and do in a very beautiful area..walk the Marginal Way!
Beautiful sand shallow beach with nice waves to swim . Water is warmest in aug sept.
Beautiful beach and area, nice little town , everything is a walking distance
Gorgeous beach ! It often gets crowded though. Good thing it's big with lots of sand.
Beautiful beach ..the tide going in and out is awesome.. one of my favorite beaches

Bring your tube and float along with the current ????????
The most beautiful beach i have ever been to!
Grab some favorite take-out & sit on the benches & watch the sunset ; magical!
Miles of white sand , surfing at the river mouth, volleyball and the ocean.
Always a fun time! Get there early so you can get parking !
Parking during the season is pricey , but it’s the best beach in Maine.
Great little Sea side town
Come after 6 for a peaceful experience and free parking .
When the tide is going out you can use the bay side as a lazy river that flows out into the ocean. Be careful, the tide can be quite rough at times!
Still the most beautiful beach I've been to...despite the water temperature ...and that includes Hawaii!
My favorite beach in the world!
Great beach , great shoppes. Love it here.
Easy access , lots of nearby parking , busy but not crowded .
Especially nice when it’s empty.
As of today (8july2011) the water temp was listed at 59. If you have kids, the river and/of the tidal pool is often a good bit warmer.
a Five mile white sandy beach -- pure heaven for that afternoon stroll looking for sand dollars.
Have a seat in an adirondack chair and enjoy high tide
Go during low tide it makes for a great walk on the beach
Runners: Flat, easy to run on sand. One of the best 5 mile beach runs. Very pretty!
Food, location and beach .
Accessible beach right in the middle of town
Wade the riverside at low tide and look for crabs
Eva's the mayor of ogunquit beach? I've been coming here before I was born. I'm the president of ogunquit beach!!
The "gay section" is around the #3 sign. Walk on the beach and head left for a while.
The sand is so soft! Just take your shoes off and sink them into the sand!
Very relaxing on the chairs at the beach .
At low tide you can walk across the sandbar to the small beach .
It's a beach on an island .
2 volleyball nets....always a pick up game
OMG $15 to park ?!!
