It's quaint, it's French, it's in Rice Village and it will make you feel like you've stepped into a charming Parisienne cafe . [Eater 38 Member]
This tiny new French cafe in Rice Village does a remarkable job of re-creating lovable peasant dishes from the French countryside. Read more
A wonderful French bistro , to enjoy a good lunch or to sit by the bar in the evening. Love their Merguez sandwich (with seared lamb sausage ).
Highly recommend the bœuf bourgignon if it's available. Might be the best I've ever had.
The wine selection is large and well priced, but I prefer lunch sandwich and salad specials . Chicken sandwich with frites is my fav. Parking = no fun.
Start with the mussels ; the sauce they are steamed in is so delicious you have to sop it up with fresh crusty bread ! Read more
Excellent French bistro . Huge wine list . Great bread , fresh salads . Their quiche is always very good. Sit outside if weather allows.
The wine list is extensive and the staff is so knowledgeable that you can always trust their recommendations. Read more
The cream of mushrooms , if available, is highly recommended.
Beautiful setting, very good bread and excellent mussels !
Rabelais is also open for lunch . I’d suggest trying the pork sandwich served with pommes frites ! Read more
The bread is amazing, so are the mussels . The carrot ginger soup was also great. Avoid the sea bass - it was gummy , overcooked and bland.
The mussels are amazing! Wonderful restaurant . Highly recommend
Tiny, but delicious. Expect to get here early, or to wait.
The waitstaff generally can be found speaking French and most of them seem to have come to Rabelais directly from the motherland.
Mussels great wine at good prices
Positively outstanding. House pâté is incredible.
Order the muscles !! The best you will ever have!!

Nothing is good about this place. A dishonest employee charged an additional $20 to my credit card. What is sad is I already left a 20% tip! Pay cash if you go here. Plus the food isn't that great.
Food is awesome!
Parking is a challange
Everything is great here! Sit outside if you can.
The menu is on the chalk board. Inside.
Mussels are amazing!
