Rice noodles with beef & soya sauce had a good smoky wok flavour (one of the best I've found here) & a good amount of beef . It was very good value .
For seasonal vegetables we chose pea shoots with garlic . It was a big portion & good: Well cooked with a good texture & taste. There was complementary rock melon .
Pigeon was good, with crisp skin & a succulent good flavour. It was slighty gamey but that comes with the territory. It was small but again, it's a pigeon. You're not ordering it to get full on.
The roast pig was delish! Better than the ones in nyc! You can get noodles , wonton , congee and so much more!!
Fish maw & Shredded duck soup was good though there was little fish maw. There was quite a bit of duck . The regular portion was big, filling about 6 small soup bowls
A late night place . Use to be a hyped up place until it died down. Food is still delicious and average pricing. Would recommend to a friend
I always, ALWAYS get the BBQ Pork with Rice (#12 on BBQ list). So tender, and great for white people not yet ready for real Chinese food ! I think it's called "chashew phan" in Canto.
Roasted duck was pretty good with nice fat & a good roast flavour. Roasted pig was ok - a bit dry with little fat; the skin was a bit brittle, not like the more delicate crispness you get elsewhere.
They sell roast pigeon for $22, but it's sold out by night time. They have roast goose - but only in summer & you need to pre-order the day before ($28/half, $55/whole).
This Chinese restaurant has a prominent BBQ meat counter , but their other dishes were actually better. Lean duck (pipa duck ) can't be chosen in a mixed meat platter
The best Chinese BBQ in town ! Get 3 kinds of BBQ with roasted pork , roasted duck and cuttle fish .
Whole roasted goose for $70. $40 for half. It's better to pre order. It's only available till end September
BBQ meat combinations are really good and they have late night special combos
Char siu (which we were served with wrongly at first) was decent. Soy chicken was pretty tasty but a bit tough.
WiFi password is 4164913034 (their phone number)
What a dump this place is, the servers are rude and do not honour first come, first serve. The one or two times I come here for bbq take out a year will now decrease to zero. FTP.
Get the BBQ pork !
Good BBQ food dishes!!
Really fast service. I had satay beef pho and it was so good and filling! - Ramli John
Best takeout, cheapest, largest variety of Asian foods, soup base, noodles, snacks, bakery, dim sum, cleanest seafood section, lots soon expired veggies n fruits for $1. Whole Soy chicken cooked $6. - Bodhi Moksha
Marinated meats very tasty, even non marinated good quality, could be eaten without dipping sauces (not that sauce selection was great - soy sauce, sesame oil and ssamjang. Seafood good quality too. - Gabriel Seah
BBQ lamb ribs is a must try. Dry rub on the outside, and all the juicy goodness trapped inside. As a bonus, ask what the BBQ lamb egg (lamb bomb) is... - Benjamin
Great bakery area. Don't forget to stock up on instant noodles. I like Mama's. - stephiedoo
It's actually Bamburgh Plaza... Foody Mart is a good place to be. As for restaurants check out Yogi Noodles and the Korean restaurant. The Pho place is of course great but service...not so much - David Lin
