Sitting opposite the Victorian grandeur of Parliament House our three venues have gained iconic status amongst Melbournians and visitors alike. Reminiscent of old world Europe, The European mines the traditions of rural France, Italy and Spain.

I came here for the Eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. Toasted muffin , perfectly poached eggs , well made Hollandaise . Very expensive but worth it after suffering so many shitty Benedicts
Perfect place for a long slow dinner/lunch. Get a bottle of wine , the tartare , a few other dishes, def the pommes frites , and an espresso with the crème brûlée after.
The eggs Benedict is amazing. The chef has been hand making it for 25 years. Get a table outside and enjoy the beautiful Melbourne weather with a perfect coffee .
Unbelievable, in an positive manner. Always wanted to try ( curious ) black pudding , not disappointed. Very active place, obviously a lot of repeat visitors. Happy to recommend.
Breakfast and The European two days in a row. An institution! Huevos Madrilenos and Eggs Benedict both spit on.
Steak tartare and French fries . Incredible wine list . Authentic European/Melbourne/bistro atmosphere. An institution.
The coffee is great.....but the Buttermilk Pancakes are an absolute triumph. I venture to say, the best I have ever had.
Seasonal mushroom risotto with truffle oil and a glass of Pinot Noir of 2005 Marchand Frères Gevrey - Chambertin ???? ???? Sensational!! ????
Had the risotto for lunch and it was done really well , served fast enough too (went here on a Sat). I ordered their chocolate salted caramel for dessert and it was amaze-balls!!
Wonderful service - if you treat them like people yourself. The Wellington is ridiculously nice and all other food at our table was very good. Recommended. Roof terrace bar is lovely also.
If you're lucky - you'll spot some famous Hollywood actors dining here for breakfast/brunch. Ham and cheese is fantastic.
Ambience is good however service is hit and miss - may get served with a frown. Beware of 15% surcharge on Sundays, bit sneaky to pass this off to customers. The Heuvos Madrilenos is decent (pic)
Have not eaten here, but great spot for a coffee out on the footpath watching Melbourne go by, whether summer or winter
a nice place for breakfast . ordered their croque madame or egg benedict with glass of orange juice . get there earlier to avoid line .
The Eggs Benedict is a real winner. Delicious hollandaise - ask for it on the side and they'll give you a whole bowl full.
the 'tom cooper' smoked salmon is so brilliant.. with capers .. chives .. shredded egg .. celeriac remoulade & horseradish cream.. my god! pick a sweet white to suit. i have posted a picture..... nom!
Became a bit of a haunt for me during my stay. Great coffee , great food. Not sure what the comments about bad service are all about, as I've had nothing but friendly staff every time.
Zucchini fritters with smashed avocado and tomato relish is a light but tasty breakfast . Service faultless and spoiling.
The most delicate Portuguese tart I've ever eaten.
Timothy Martin's signature dish of wet roasted lamb with a brioche crust and salted cucumbers
Nut bread avocado and eggs , Croque-monsieur, cappuccino was great
Caviar , soft boiled eggs , toasted brioche and blini - pretty divine start to the day:)
Fabulous atmosphere and coffee . Homemade black pudding
Sit at the bar and watch the staff busy at work- they are always up for a chat too
Great spot for breakfast and always great coffee . Can't lose!
Turkish eggs was awesome, eggs cooked perfectly! European breakfast was lovely too. Service could've been better. Coffee is great though
Excellent place to start the day.
One of Melbourne's older establishments, great atmosphere on a chilly winters day, and quality food to match.
Nothing beats this great little venue, and what a beer list ! Enjoy!
Great ambiance, lovely service, excellent food & impressive wine list .
The Beef Wellington is very good by my standards. Pleasantly surprised!
Excellent French style brasserie . Service was average!
The duck tortellini from the specials board was sensational
always a pleasure sipping on their espresso martini . can't say the same abt their creme brûlée , but when it's good. It's Really Good (:
Great old euro cafe atmosphere, excellent coffee and food, among my favourites for out of office meetings.
late night snack or coffee place in the city
Beautiful coffee , pity they don't do a larger size. I don't want it to end!
have the tuna niçoise from the supper menu...... it is greatness...! & don't forget to make sure they bring you aioli with bread !
Truffled duck liver , smoked eel & foie gras parfait is to die for.
Amazing staff , amazing service, awesome coffee .
Good breakfasts : huervos and tart tatin are especially yum.
Oysters were wonderful
Pick one of the many wines and go for the black and white linguini with crab
Average coffee but great omelette with goat 's cheese . Great sitting outside and watch life go by.
Excellent service , great good and fabulous French wine
Coffee is horrible. European breakfast-bacon is so dry and even the poached eggs are overcooked. Every thing is so dry on my plate..so awful. Won't come back
The Huevos Madrilenos (baked eggs with tomatoes and sausages ) are just awesome!
Wow, $10 for a small handful, & I mean small handful of chips . This place is overpriced and overhyped. Not impressed on this second visit. Food lacks depth of flavour and the portions are meager. Boo.
Try the Crumbed Whiting, Pea & Parmesan Mash
One of the best restaurants in melbourne
Opt for a cheeseburger from the supper menu after 10pm on the weekend. Excellent veg options. An iconic Art Deco dining hall/bar. They also serve mini cocktails. - Natalie
Everything! Cannot fault this place at all. Good food, beautiful presentation, great cocktails, amazing attention to details, awesome team! - Lynn Wabbit
Rooftop bar with views of the Princess Theatre and Parliament. Cocktails, beer and wine on the best rooftop in the city. Very busy with nice weather but great in the winter too with lots of heaters. - James Ridenour
I like the whole venue the staff was super friendly & were lovely at assisting us. The only negative thing I can say was there was not enough leg room as my knees were touching the chair in front! - Warren François
The roof top bar is a real hidden gem. The view is framed by a floodlit Parliament House. Absolutely stunning. Open air but still comfortable in June with gas heaters. - Shawn Callahan
