If you plan to disembark on Shackelford, BEWARE! This tour group DOES NOT have a safe way to get off the boat & onto the island . They use a reg. ladder & pop it over the side of the boat & into sand.
Took the sunset cruise to Shakleford Island . Captain was very knowledgeable . Had a great time on the island and saw a beautiful sunset on the way back.
Grab a seat in the shade & enjoy the ride. You might get wet so bring a ziplock bag for your electronics .
Is a relaxing way, see the wild horses , islands and boats.
Got talked into the Shacklesford ferry ... very cool and gorgeous but no horses to be seen
didnt get to see any wild horses ...very sad!!

My family and I went on the brunch cruise. The crew was great and ride was very relaxing. The food is very basic buffet style though, so if your looking for a fancy meal then go to a restaurant. - Megan Osborne
