Amazing zoo with amazing people working there and is kept cleaner than any other I have been to

For a small zoo there are a lot of animals. We enjoy this zoo more than some of the much larger ones in neighboring cities .

Pretty small zoo with a nice collection of animals. We kind of leisurely walked through it in a little under 2 hours. It's a bit more of an adventure for the little ones.

Great splash park for the kids! Make sure to bring a swim diaper if your kid isn't potty trained - they won't let you in without one.

Watch for Louisville Water the weekend of August 3-5. We'll have fun, educational booths available for children as well as special visits by our mascot, Tapper.

Seems to me this zoo is more concerned with sales of its many concession stands and gift shops than animals. A lot of the habitats seem designed as if it were a theme park . Several animals not shown

Go at opening, at 10 am. You'll beat the crowds and the heat. They feed and train the Siberian tigers at 10:45 most days. This alone is worth the price of admission. Read more

My daughter grew up at this zoo . It's small but nice.

Pay for membership online with your mobile and you can skip the line . Just take the confirmation number to guest services. Saved us an hour!

Eat by glacier run and sit down at tables while your kids play on the playground . Yes please!!!

If your kid likes the carousel it's only $1 more for an all day pass!

An absolutely fabulous Zoo ! There's a new area called Glacier Run where the Sea Lions are... be sure to stop and watch the show!

Take a different route. We typically always go one way. We finally went the other and it was like visiting a totally different place.
