The address above- 2166 N Mills Ave- is a private residence. Why this is listed as the address for a wilderness trail , I do not know. Anyway, 5 miles of dirt road , nothing much to see. One and done.
One of the better trails in the 909 area. There is a plateau around the 2-3 mile mark where you can slightly rest from the uphill trek. Do this backwards. Read more

Nice wide trail . Can be crowded and the parking fee is annoying.
Parking is $3 and the lot gets full fast. You can on Mill Ave a mile from the trail .
Go left for the steeper climb first; Right to do the more gradual climb to the top of the loop.

Is there a way to find out if Claremont Loop is opened or not? I've been there a couple of times to discover it's closed.
