Portillo's everywhere seem consistent. I usually eat around the Chicago area , so I was surprised to find one in Indiana. It's a welcome stop just off the highway.

Best chocolate cake on Earth! The fries and hot dogs are also really yummy. My hubby and I always go to Portillo's when in the Chicago area .

Italian beef dipped with extra gravy of course, if you're feeling hungry. For something light, the Chop Salad is the best salad on the planet.

Order the Big Beef , dipped , with both kinds of peppers . The chocolate cake (shake ) are decadent and life-changing.

Maxwell St. Polish is excellent! Big, char-grilled, caramelized onions , mustard - better than their regular (but excellent) hot dog !

I’ve been twice and was disappointed. Staff is hyped for the show, so much so that they forget sauces and parts of order. Mediocre food at best. I’m not a fan like everyone else and I love food.
