Luohu Immigration Port

The busiest port in China and Hong Kong so reserve some time to get across. It is not too bad compare to other places in the world and quite efficient

Have your (self record) finger prints recorded first before you queue in line . Booths to record your finger prints to the left, close to arrival form signing. And oh!, you need a pen..

The border visa office is quick and efficient enough. But you have to arrived prepared with everything in place

This is easily the busiest border crossing between HK and SZ, be prepared for long queuing time at peak hours.

You can get a visa on arrival for Shenzhen after clearing HK Immigration. Just go upstairs to the Port Visa office and fill out the application form. RMB168

This is about shopping. Take your time don’t be dragged around by Commissioned agents. We stayed at the Shanghai la. Handy to the shopping and King Glory Plaza .

Judging by the crowds near "Foreigners " counters on SZ side, more and more mainlanders consider themselves to be foreigners - good example of cosmopolitanism ;)

There is no problem in HK side but you always deal with much control in PRC control

Hong Kong border. You can find very high quality expensive watches copy at reasonable prices.

Definitely don't pass here during sat and sun, even non-rush hour.

This is exit is more convenient for foreigners compared to LokMaChau..

INDIAN: Avoid breaking eye contact with guards , dont remove the white papers from hk side or even doin anything out of the ordinary , it usually results in "random checking" which will add 30 mins

It's hard to find the immigration check in to Hk. It located on the 2nd floor then walk to ur left from the escalator.

A foreigner & on the weekend SZ>HK ? Do not stand in the line after the first check point, it is NOT for us! SAVE 1 HOUR!

Whenever you queue up, watch out for signs showing "foreigners " before doing it. Or else you may waste a bunch of time.

Avoid cross boarder on Saturday morning . Thousands of Chinese are here. Expect to wait at least 2 hours to cross boarder. If you hold a foreign passport, ask one of the security guard which way to go.

Got nature's call? There's one in MTR station on HK's side. Crowed though.

Chinese people will cut you while you wait in long line . Tell them to back off if you have to.
