Great beer selection . Parking is a challenge especially at weekends. It is really designed to be walked to.
Awesome beer & wine sections . Amazing meat section most choices I've seen in any store & friendly helpful staff
What can I say? A little of everything. Just don't expect any help from the staff . They can mix some paint in the larger stores. Garden area is really good if you watch for prices.
Everything in the Hot Bar is 50% off from 8-9pm, so you can get a bag of chicken strips for .80¢. Or 2 lbs of gravy for .50¢.
The Hawthorne Fred Meyer has an expanded health food selection compared to the others, as a vegan I am very thankful to be walking distance from here.
Natty G's is cheaper
Need anything? Fred Meyer is the best place in SE to get that tool, dish, plant, bedding, game, etc. you're looking for. Don't eat at their deli , not because it's bad, but you can do better than that.
It's a grocery store . Why are you looking at tips about a grocery store ? Go buy your food.
hollywood Fred Meyer has been renovating for a few months, progressively shifting an aisle or two 50 feet over, making room for floor refinishing = shopping is discombobulating, but great otherwise
Check out the little glossy one-page flyer they print every week. About 6 coupons that are store-specific. There's usually one per week that saves a lot of moolah for me.
Definitely not one-stop shopping as Fred Meyer advertises, since they are missing clothing , electronics and furniture . 2 floors is a bit annoying. However, the produce is better than any FM in town .
One of the best Freddy's in the Portland area
Significant Sake Section.
It's a grocery store . With shoes , appliances , and I dunno... Lots of random stuff.
The ambiance is nice. The clerks Are very polite and no what they are doing
I love New Seasons, but this Fred Meyer's deli looks like the neighborhood winner to me. Beautiful selection!
Love when they have beer and wine samples on the weekend!
Conveyor belt sushi is my island paradise. Quaint and friendly staff everytime.
You can make a chase bank deposit here. The wine glasses they selldom't break.
Don’t get keys made here - their functional key output is only about 50%.
Good prices and selection of corned beef & cabbage !
Its all about the Deli section , $5 chicken strip meal. except they now charge a quarter for Honey Mustard , CMON NOW
If you gave the key card app on your android phone, it works at this location. Some Fred Meyer stores can't read it.
I was so impressed by the beer selection here.
Check out the beer selection . It is probably the best at any grocery store in town .
They have the garlic sauce (deli ).
The pizza is soo good.
The pastry counter is fantastic. Try the chocolate cheesecake . Amazing!
I still get lost, but it's starting to sink in. Donuts go on sale after 6pm. Got milk !
Awesome train sushi bar in the deli !
The beer selection is crippling! So many choices...
Great place to buy the NY Times in PDX.
Great sandwiches :)
Awesome cheese selection
Try the Peets coffee lounge upstairs. They don't mind if you read the magazines.
Bagels are 3 for a dollar after 6 pm!
Limited parking during even semi-busy times of day.
The florists are nice, but picking out your own arrangement can be spendy. And ugly.
Delicious sandwiches !
Over 400 microbrews !
Engineering the decay of order.
No clothing section at this location.
Parking is a nightmare!
No La Croix...sadness
Worst pharmacy of all time.
Obviously a great selection of specialty goods. Also a great deal on fruit and candy! - Robbie Chan
I get most all of my supplements here now; way less then Vitamin World! Also all the spices are great and won't break your bank account. Lots of great deals in the freezers also - Randall Tendick
The sandwiches are delicious! Lots of options and if you don't like the selection, try the deli case. Yummmm! - Matt Mickey
Fresh produce, good fish and meat department, hot soup and rotisserie chicken, good sandwiches with gluten free options... - Page Morrison
super cute powell's outpost. the staff is friendly and super willing to share recommendations! - cami j.
Pizza and wine are great. It's part of the McMinemins chain. Good for movies. Spicy tater tots are pretty great - Gehlen Exum
