Hands down the finest Italian salamuria in Astoria. Amazing sandwiches , Italian dishes & delights that are better than any other Italian Astoria deli . Many imported canned and jarred goods from Italy.

They have really good pizza in the back! The slices are huge! If you’re lucky, you’ll get a freshly made slice :). The store also sells a wide range of authentic Italian food products here.

My favorite pizza comes from this Italian grocery/deli. One bite & I'm forever sold. Get a slice or a whole pie . The store has a great selection on deli meats , cheeses & European products as well .

A favorite local deli with great Italian sandwiches and some of the best pizza in northern Astoria. Their fresh mozzarella , made daily, is the highlight of the deli case.

If you're thinking about making eggplant or chicken parm , don't. Buy the cutlets here, get a quart of Rosario's sauce and some fresh mozzarella and you're ready to rock and roll!

I'm eating their pizza now and it's like a religious experience. TRY IT: Get it. Eat it. Fall in love with it. Best pizza I've had in NYC so far.

We think this is Astoria's best deli . There are a ton of sandwiches to choose from. The pizza is awesome!

When ordering prosciutto , go domestic and be sure to get slices off the end which is far sweeter then the middle. Yes it's a bit tougher but far more delicious and well worth your money.

The pizza dough and mozzarella are fantastic. The service is impeccable!

Our tip? Rosario's sells pizza by the slice. And it is killer. Not just "good for an Italian deli that also happens to sell pizza ," it's the best slice for blocks around.

Sometimes the mozzarella is still warm when you buy it. Eat it as soon as you can. It will bring a tear to your eye.
