It's not often a pub can make the earth move. Abuzz with friendly banter and offbeat charm, you'll find The Phoenix benefits from more than just good vibrations from the throng of trains below. Like its mythical namesake, this quirky venue rose from the flames of the great Denmark Hill Station fire.

Small upstairs area overlooking the bar via the spiral staircase in the corner. Comfortable sofa seating to escape to for a bit of privacy to read, work or relax.
Wonderful place if it wasn't it's not family friendly at all. I've been denied dinner on a quiet night with my 3y old toddler on the ground u18 are not welcome after 6.30pm...
Rib eye was good and I changed the fries for sweet potato fries . Marveous
Good spot to grab a drink if you miss the train at Denmark Hill as it is directly next to the train station .
Order the BBQ pulled pork sandwich . One of the best things you will eat in London for a fiver!
Mini burgers . All salads . Modelo bottle . All Great!
Perfect after work pub ! Hop off the train at Denmark Hill and you're there! Really cozy upstairs area .
Get a table outside , to enjoy the sun going down over SE London
Pleasant space but I was disappointed to find the the kitchen closed without warning 10mins after I'd just asked if they were still serving food... (20:30)
A pretty useful chicken Sunday roast on offer here, and quick service too!
Sunday evening: no cider , no Chardonnay , no roasts, no normal menu at all.. very limited. It's a lovely looking pub too, so was disappointing.
A top find! Great selection of beers and fab pub grub.
Perfect place to catch the last rays of sunshine in the summer.
Evocative location, nice bar
Triple fried chips .
Like old times!
Draft Sierra Nevada .... Always a good thing
New salads & tarts. Try the salted caramel affogato it's lush! Guest roasts from Horsham Coffee Roaster & wide selection of home brewing coffee gear. - Nico Millward
Huge menu and a great selection of drinks! Affordable and lively pub. Very large with garden. Great on a sunny day. - Josef Dunne
This is a long-time favourite for many in East Dulwich. Good food and some excellent live music events, the occasional comedy act and just general laid back atmosphere. - Geoffrey Makstutis
Played a gig here on the bandstand - very pleasant park, seemed very friendly for kids. Nice little cafe by the paddling pool area. - Phil Clamp
