Will regret publicising this if I can't book next year but you can have Christmas dinner here, on Christmas day. Good food, excellent beer and friendly staff make this a great pub any time of year.
Huge menu and a great selection of drinks! Affordable and lively pub . Very large with garden . Great on a sunny day.
one of the better wetherspoons, still feels like a traditional pub . cheap food & drink, can't go wrong!
Come early before the boozers arrive. Service is SLOOOOW. An hour for a pint.
£5 for burger with frappe ????????
Pretty good ale selection and garden but it's a poor service and the local creatures that let this otherwise beautiful pub down
Best Spoons in town !
Has a big outdoor kids play area with climbing frames and the likes ... Big spoonies this one
Cheap & cheerful but not ever so lovely.
Had to walk out of here this evening despite its good range of beers due to rude staff and poor service which isn't a one off......such a shame for an otherwise great pub
The Disneyland of pubs
Not dog friendly at all, not even on the patio at the front. You can get cash back from the bar .

Mushrooms on Toast (with Stilton cream!) is the best ever something on toast anywhere. Ever! - Heli Heartland
Played a gig here on the bandstand - very pleasant park, seemed very friendly for kids. Nice little cafe by the paddling pool area. - Phil Clamp
