Café Beignet

Cafe Beignet is a nice little getaway off Bourbon St. The live music and lovely courtyard pulled us in. We all ordered food and sat for a while enjoying the ambiance. Defs worth a stop!

I only stopped in for a frozen drink to go, but the place is adorable and has a fun energy. Live band in an adorable courtyard makes it a great spot to relax.

Start with the obvious, the beignet 's. These little sugar pillows of deliciousness were great. I got a order of 3 and the first 2 were perfect, the 3rd i left because it was over fried on 1 side.

Excellent beignets (obviously) great service, fantastic jazz , excellent atmosphere. You must stop by if you visit NOLA, great respite from from the debauchery of Bourbon st. Check out the statues !!

Took advice from a friend and agree. Beignet 's are better here than cafe du monde with less of a wait plus live music and more food options.

Great atmosphere- nice seating area, jazz music . But ship everything here except the beignets . I prefer these beignets to Cafe du monde . They are big and fluffy. Food has small portions and just meh

Obviously, the beingets here are good. Big and puffy. Smothered with powdered sugar . A good treat, plus you can watch live jazz .

Now these are some Cajun hash browns . Nice and fresh! Better here then at Cafe Bignet on Royal Street!

People say this is this place to get your beignets - not Cafe Du Monde . These were the best I've ever had for sure. Live jazz here too - even on a Thursday morning.

Steamboat Willie 's live music is great but the beignets themselves are too sense and heavy. I prefer the lighter fluffier version at Cafe du Monde

Like I said, I ordered a hurricane. $8 for grenadine on ice in a Dixie cup. I'm now two doors down listening to Santana and drinking a hurricane twice the size WITH booze!!

Cafe Beignet has great beignets and in my opinion, it's better than Cafe Du Monde .

Tip for people from Hawaii.. these beignets tastes just like Punahou malasadas . Yum!

French toast is a no-go. Ham and cheese croissant is so-so. Chocolate eclair is phenomenal.

Had breakfast Cajun hash browns . Potatoes were stale and sausage was remarkably like canned frankfurters. Go for omelets instead. And coffee with beignets .
