The classic set up remains great in 2021. Steak & Chips with a fresh salad to start. You can't book but the turnaround is quick so you won't wait long for a table.

Where else in the City are people queuing up for 25 min to get into a "no bookings "restaurant ! No messing about here - fantastic steak and fries , two servings..and creme brûlée is just to die for.

Make sure you have the steak rare. Fantastic restaurant , and leave room for dessert . Incredible desserts . But the steak is the memorable thing here. Just amazing.

If you are having lunch - they do a half bottle of the house red which is just right for two people if you don't want to feel the effects (but want to enjoy a glass or so with the excellent steak !)

Great steak and fries , but they don't offer butter for the bread and no mayo for the fries .... Come on guys!
