Austin Java - City Hall

A great place for informal meetings with a diverse menu at very affordable prices . They validate parking in Austin City Hall . TIP: grab a cheap(er) bite here before a night out!

Get on their wifi network for free... They have some of the best breakfast tacos in the area. But watch out if you get them to dine-in... The fillings don't always wind up -inside- the tortillas ;)

Breakfast tacos rock! Also, try the buttermilk pancake with brown sugar cinnamon butter . It's delicious and VERY filling.

My husband and I both tried a couple different salads here and both were very good. The service was nothing spectacular and for sure nothing to brag about.

The breakfast quesadilla is awesome! Get it with bacon and avocado . Extra salsa is recommended.

Park in city hall , then get a bottomless coffee to go and ask them to stamp your parking stub for a sweet discount - easiest 2-for1 around!

Hippie hallow is very good, try it with a side of the vegan chorizo . Drip coffee is fine but disappointed in the espresso drinks . Whatever they grind for espresso is weak and bitter

Get the tuna salad . It's a big tuna steak and a culinary adventure.

Got the honey nut latte . Not great and waited a really long time for it to be made. If you're a coffee connoisseur then find a different place to get your cup of joe.

Best veggie chorizo breakfast taco ever!! Lower calories by ordering egg whites & on wheat :)

Coffee has only sugar. Make sure you order how much sugar you like. Beware. The staff is confused but courteous.

My French toast was burnt, breakfast taco was dry and they put my ice coffee in a hot cup. Way better places in the area.

Not what it used to be: two bad breakfasts in a row: cold, dry and tasteless if not for excess salt. :-(

Wifi doesn't work

Horrible iced mocha and chocolate mint , both tasted like they were made out of powder.

Avoid the corn pancakes . Bland and dry.

Too much sugar !!!
