It was raining when we got to the tigers section & we noticed that they were playing in the rain, they noticed my son and started playing with him it was pretty surreal and so worth it to get wet
This is right down the street from my house. Once you're inside it's like another continent. Very clean and nice, helpful staff . Also a nice café for lunch .
If your little ones are playing in the fountain for most of the day, be sure that they wear water shoes or something because the ground can get very hot!
Go first thing in the morning. All animals are out of their homes and are being fed by zoo keepers so they are active. Awesome!!! Bring bathing suit and towels for the fountains .
Great Military deals on entrance tickets. Active duty are free and 3 more people get in with you half off!
A small local zoo that children will love. Be sure to bring bathing suits so they can play in the fountains .
Fun place, interesting animals, but eat before you come, unlike the Detroit Zoo , you can't bring food.
Wonderful for kids and the family.
Nice and shady, so much more manageable than zoo Miami
Bring an extra pair of clothes . So kids can splurge at the fountain .
Much easier to navigate (alveit smaller) than the zoo in Miami.
In the summer make sure you bring a towel & an extra set of clothes so they can play in the fountain !

Nice for kids.
No ATM so stop before you get here! Don't forget to bring quarters to feed the animals. No change machine either.

Our kids loved the Zoo....very nice.
Parking spaces are kind of a joke if you have anything bigger than a matchbox car...
Cloudy days are the best '
People belong in cages not animals!
Try feeding the first early in the am!
Check out the water park . Great for these hot days!
Serenade in the zoo during ZooSafari is delightful.
