If you paid to see a planetarium show, get there 5 minutes early... And dissuade parents of very young kids (2 years and under) from those shows. Little ones end up ruining the show, asked to leave.
My brother and I had an amazing time! We would absolutely recommend this science center to anyone who is looking to spend a day learning a whole lot but at the same time having so much fun.
The Out of This World exhibit features many rare artifacts including a 40 lb meteorite launched off the surface of Mars following an impact 3 million years ago. It fell to Earth in Nigeria in 1962. Read more
It's geared solely for students & kids. Therefore, the cost for an adult is very high. Tanks are beautiful in size; but in all honesty, it's cheap looking because of the fake coral the fish live in.
Had a blast with the kids. Free admission on the first weekend of the month if you're a BoA customer.
Keep cool this summer at the Museum and treat yourself to our new addition, Dippin' Dots while you discover, play & learn!
Be sure to do the Touch fish tank. The kids get to feel sea life .
Good for a quick activity. Did the whole museum minus mini golf in less then 2-hrs.
Good place to go on a hot summer day... The kids always enjoy it... A little too much money....
New renovations are great! Seahorses were the best.
Designed for kids, but fascinating for adults too.
Very sweet museum . Worth the trip. Lovely aquarium and shell collection.
Really good for kids under 12.
Me and my family had a great time here!
Raised prices recently 2 adults 2 kids $40+ for the dat ! better value annual membership $80 for 2 adults and up to 10 kids!
Well haven't gone in yet but it's under construction and parking is a joke.... Hopefully the experience will make up for the outside!
They are adding an addition to this museum . Doesn't affect anything now. They say it will open in Spring 2014
Geared for small children. Wasted 60 $ for 4 adults and was done in 15 minutes.
Home to the Planetarium , too!
Miniature golf is always a winner
Its great for little kids. Very gimmicky -it's for young children. $9/adult as of today.
The museum time left behind. The dinosaur in the front entrance is far too ironic. Lady at the front desk said my valid coupon had expired because she hadn't seen it. Could use some air freshners too!
Free for Bank of America customers the first full weekend of every month...not worth it if you have to pay or drive a long way.
Its great for all ages!
Check out our SFSM Summer Camp program!
There were so many ppl in the museum who not wearing a mask or didn’t even come in with them on. Not good!
Children running wild.
This place is a huge disappointment. For anyone who knows true science and children museums this is the worst! Florida has less culture than a cup of yogurt !!!
Unimpressive. Avoid until construction is over.
Everything! I love the art here so much! They bring in quality here! I've seen Rembrandt and Van Gogh occasionally here! It's brilliant! - Brenden Davis
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Amazing art, amazing instructors, and amazing experience!! xoxo - Kristen Alyce
Good happy hour spot. Also good for dinning and shopping. Love the movie theatre. - Christopher Nason
Wings, steamers, and burgers are great; fish dip is excellent too - not heavy and creamy like many places. - Ned Raer
