Joe is awesome! He made us feel right at home. If you've ever been to NYC/Brooklyn the space is reminiscent but the attitude behind the bar is not snooty or uppity. Drinks are perfectly strong.

Great cocktail menu with a solid combination of original drinks and classic cocktails . Bartender was super helpful and our drinks had obvious attention to detail. Vibe was great for a Thursday night.

Menu created by bartenders from Apotheke in NYC. Cilantro G&T, Herrick Helper & Simone's Love were all delicious. Great interior design and back patio seating for nice days. Highly recommended.

Fried Chicken Sandwich was awesome; well seasoned and crispy batter. Comes with a generous portion of seasoned fries .

For Chicago travelers or fans of bitter liqueurs this bar stocks two versions of Malört. Leatherbee Besk and Bäsak Snaps. Hopefully they'll get Jeppson's too!

We were wary of the communal table in the back but service was outstanding and our fellow diners were really friendly . Try the mimosa flight for brunch !

Rest in peace Old Town Alehouse, you are sorely missed... You didn't know how to 'fuse' things with other things, but this we did not ask of you. You were our favorite bar , and that was enough.

If you are feeling like being social sit in the seats in the middle of the bar instead of hiding in a booth . It's much more fun
