Food Network - Best Ribs in WA: baby back ribs are hot item - dry-rub ribs w/brwn sugar rub & cooked on WA wood (an Old Hickory pit). Ribs finish on charbroiler w/apple cider vinegar house sweet sauce
Wonderful bbq place ... go for the bbq nachos and pulled pork sandwich . By the way between 3 and 5 there is a happy hour menu with cheaper and great options!!!
Delicious meat, service is good, nice place, grits are amazing, skip chosing the cornbread . Good sauces available to try.
No better place to go for barbecue in Ballard than this hot spot. Don't skip out on the sides, especially the pulled-pork nachos and Buffalo chicken livers . [Eater 38 Member]
BBQ is decent, Mac and cheese is amazing! Get the cornbread too. Good selection of whiskies and bourbons in the small, quiet bar in the back.
Amazing little gem of a place. Great cocktails and really great food served till 1am.
Great BBQ , great drafts and amazing burning and whiskey . $5 pulled pork or braised beef sandwich for happy hour . Fried chicken on Thursdays! Try it! Try it all!
I got their Mac & Cheese both times I came here and it is incredible! Added bacon and chili to mine. So good!
Head to the back bar . Prepare to meet the meat. Brisket , collard greens and cornbread all good.
Get the BBQ nachos and wash em down with a ballardmaker: bartenders choice pairing of bourbon and beer . Oh and spike your drink with bacon jerky .
Probably the best Bloody Mary in the Ballard area - thick, spicy and well-garnished. Great whiskey selection . Barbecue is alright but it's no Texas.
6 weeks old, this place has already worked out any kinks. Try sneaking a bottle of the sweet bbq sauce into your purse . You know, to put pour onto things at home (meatloaf , chicken , cereal....)? Mmmm.
A good attempt on Ballard's part for a BBQ joint , but it's just a little too swanky . Decent food, but the atmosphere, service, and bold dishes kill any shot this place had at being "authentic "
Awesome new bbq in Ballard . Whole chicken and brisket was plenty for group of 4. Great cocktails and old Rasputin stout on Nitro. Yum
Great staff , great menu. Mac & Cheese with pulled pork ? Do yourself a favor and order it!
They'll text you when a table becomes available on busy nights! Oh, and the food is great. To drink, try the Montana Manhattan .
The non-alcoholic drink options are awesome, especially the Squirly Shirley with smoked grenadine.
Full menu and late night happy hour til 1 am, the best late night food in Ballard!
Great happy hour ! Try the pulled pork sandwich and the old fashioned. Excellent!
Great staff , enjoyed the good as well
Texas Style BBQ , Pulled Pork Sandwich is awesome :) Get drinks at the Gerald on the other side of the road .
Sides are all tasty! Creamy grits , perfectly braised greens, and baked beans were the best.
The brisket is amazing and by far the best in Seattle. They use a naval cut.
The nachos are loaded with flavor and have a Korean twist of flavor
Pulled pork was great! Also the cornbread
BBQ Pork sandwich is awesome, especially at happy hour which starts again at 11pm
The mac n cheese and pulled pork sandwich were amazing!
The beef brisket was amazing! Loved the corn on the cob too! The baked beans ... eh they were ok.
Get the Cowboy Killer to try it all. Be sure to add a Mac and Cheese .
Get the fried chicken on Thursdays, plenty to share the plate.
Got the biscuts and maple pork belly - like pork belly on a lollipop !
Order of BBQ tastiness, descending: beef brisket , ribs , pulled pork , pork belly , chicken .
Ugh. Still searching for bbq . Key is to perfect cooking one animal and one sauce. With no more than 3 side options.
The cornbread with honey butter is $2 at happy hour and basically crack in bread form. Get two.
Pulled pork sammich is AWESOME! Have one w/the mustard , YUM!! Ribs are mighty tasty too!!
Brisket , greens, gritz, and whisky FTW.
Good cocktails and excellent selection of whiskeys .
Braised beef sandwich was one of the best things I have tasted in my life.
Enormous Mac and Cheese with any of 6 mixins!
Get the house-made fireball whiskey . (Fire extinguisher not required.)
Everything is very very good.
They have a whole part of the menu devoted to Mac and cheese !
Did not live up to all the hype I read in Seattle Magazine. Cocktails are original & tasty but the fare left much to be desired, especially for the price. Pete's in Fremont is consistently better.
Amazing Manhattan with cinnamon bitters
Got the cowboy killer and was mostly disappointed. All meats lacked any flavor. The ribs tasted like they smoked it lightly for an hour then tossed it on the grill to cook quickly which made it dry
Pickled Deviled Eggs !
BBQ is OK. Would have gone back again if it wasn't for the poor cleanliness. 3 of our dishes had gobs of gross dried food stuck to them. Staff weren't all that concerned.
Good drinks and solid BBQ .
Collard greens ! Collard greens collard greens collard greens !
The reviews say it all. Best BBQ in Seattle. Cole slaw is fantastic. Collar greens were heavenly. Everything is good. - Nick Brady
The Mac and cheese is amazing, even without a meat topping. Great outdoor space for warm/dry days. Overall awesome spot! - Drew Milam
Molten, decadent deliciousness. Try the Peanut Butter Cup, or if you are looking for a night cap the Chocolate Hanky Panky. - Allie Caudle
Epitome of a great neighborhood bar: friendly bartenders, stiff cocktails, and a good vibe. - Kyle Bunch
Great scotch selection including many off the beaten path. Good neighborhood vibe as well. - Josh Williams
