Blue Bottle is a well-known name in the Bay Area coffee scene—their (original) Linden Street location is tiny, with standing room and outdoor seating only, and an intimately local vibe and feel.

Johanna Sung

One of the Bay Area's shining stars and third wave coffee empires (now bought out by Nestle in Sept 2017), their coffee is always perfectly roasted, poured, and served. New Orleans Iced Coffee !

Eater

Hugh Acheson says that it’s one of the best, noting the “line is long, but the coffee is worth it.” He also gives “mega props to a growing empire” where all coffee is sold at the peak of freshness. Read more

The best of the best. Get a pour over . Be kind to your fellow patrons and tip your barista! Donuts are muy bueno ????

Gunnar Aasen

This is one of the most charming Blue Bottle locations in SF. It's tucked away on Linden street so it's not quite as crowded as other popular Hayes Valley establishments on a sunny day.

Gleb Kaplun

Best-tasting and farely popular alternative to starbucks, doesn't give you electricity and WiFi , neither does chairs and tables available here. Come here for... well the best coffee in SF

Kyle Minor

In cool weather: their cappuccino is perfect ; add a dark chocolate cookie FTW. Or have a Tcho chocolate Mocha -- why not? In hot weather? Stop at the New Orleans Iced. Perfectly pre-sweetened!

Noah Weiss

Same great espresso and New Orleans iced coffee . Take it to go to the park one block west.

Ashley Mowrey

Blue bottle isn't my go to, but this space specifically always has consistently good quality drinks. It's expensive , considering I've had just as good quality at places that don't charge $4 for a cap

Sam Downie

Downside is there's no seats. Upside is, it's the best coffee around ! Ask for a latte it's $3.75 a cup and will keep you going.. Tip 2: follow @bluebottleroast plus they're supported by @google

TOMS

A delightful & cozy café , even if there’s a line out the door, remember that some great things are worth waiting for! Try a perfectly poached egg on toast with their famous New Orleans iced coffee .

Courtney Kwak

My favorite Blue Bottle kiosk nicely hidden on Linden Street. Nice to stand in line and sit on a near bench sipping your favorite blue bottle coffee on sunny days :)

Kevin Pratt

Ethiopia Hambela Estate Buku beans burst with fruit flavor in the mouth of the cup. The welcoming tone of raspberry in the mouth and aroma is delicate, fading to a soft body, high acidity honey dew .

Luke White

Their New Orleans style iced coffee (roasted with chicory and cold brewed ) is the best iced coffee I've ever had.

Ashley Bowles

Cute hole in he wall location. Great espresso .

Ashley Mowrey

This is more of a drive-thru Blue Bottle . There's seating in the alleyway, but if it's cold you're going to want to take it to go.

Ken Baldwin

get your coffee here if you go to Hayes Valley to check out Welcome Stranger and Rand & Statler / Steven Alan. Its a cute area to walk around and check out shops. La Boulange is a chain.

Steve Hopkins

The coffee is awesome and the line moves quick. Take a seat on the concrete blocks behind you and enjoy the sunshine.

Christine Brynn

Had the salted double chocolate cookie and a cappuccino by recommendation. Very tasty and the staff were wonderful, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. I feel like the coffee was rather weak.

Scott Schwalbach

The Blue Bottle Kiosk is an awesome place to grab an iced coffee in the summer and chill out in in the alley. A unique urban treasure.

Austin Bales

Get a New Orleans in a paper cup, the classic way!

Khris

This is a walk up location with no indoor seating (or outdoor for that matter) Bring your own cup, get it to go and walk around the hood.

Monica Zarate

Incredible start to the day. Tried both a soy latte and a coffee . Both were perfect.

Jake Kaufman

Nestled in the small alley near Patricia's Green, grab one of their amazing drip coffees and drink it in the park on a nice day.

Natale Bogun

Tiny hole in the wall in the back alley but the coffee was so good

Ayaka Nonaka

Enjoy your beverage at Patricia's Green while watching adorable dogs play in the park . It's therapeutic, really.

Aaron Cruz

Walk down the tree/flower lined Linden Street in Hayes Valley and you'll stumble upon kiosk coffee heaven. Their espresso shot OMG.

Ariane Mota

I love everything here, but their New Orleans iced coffee is something special on that rare warm day in SF

nils janson

The ginger molasses cookie is the best I've ever had.

Wilson Favre-Delerue

Blue Bottle mini: same quality coffee , less pompous than its larger brethren.

Kraig Parkinson

All the coffee and the baked treats . Breve Gibraltar is a gem. The service is terrific.

Syl Divinorum

Excellent coffee . Good baristas. Cool art along the alleyway makes for a pleasant detour.

Laurence B

Want your New Orleans iced with less milk ? "NOLA burly." More milk ? "NOLA dainty."

Sergey Smirnov

Espresso shots and the New Orleans Iced Coffee are what you need to get here. Mochas are great too.

Nathan Shomer

Try the New Orleans Iced Coffee - orgasmically delicious...especially with a Double Chocolate Recchiuti Chocolate cookie !"(

Christian Renner

I just love it. Certainly not cheap but the taste of the flat white is amazing

The espresso is incredible. The little glass of sparkling water that comes with it is a nice touch.

Al B.

Very nice setting inside a modern warehouse of a ceramics factory . Excellent coffee too! :D

Kevin Pratt

Columbia Suaza del Sombrero beans are soothing with a clean , pumpkin seed flavored medium body.

Michael

Get the New Orleans iced if you must, but I prefer to hit up Ritual instead while in Hayes.

Paul Farrell

Queues are not as bad as folks make out. Pour over is a good ol serving and grab a New Orleans for take away on a hot day.

Jaycee Renegado

Got the Latté . Not a coffee person, but it tasted smooth. I felt like a hipster . A hint of dew in the morning dawn. Word!

Scottie Milagro

Such a sweet vibe at this alleyway coffee kiosk. New Orleans iced is my go to.

Joycott

We love Blue Bottle ! We love any coffee shop that cares so much about sustainability!

Jennifer Beckner

Skip the long @$$ line if you're just buying beans for your friend Jesse. If you're not getting a drink you can move straight to the front (stay right).

Pez Cuckow

Great Belgian style waffles with Maple Syrup

Antônio Inocêncio

Ask for an espresso and drink it at the sidewalk.

Kim Fujiwara

Try the Machiatto - Although I don't care for their expresso , I do enjoy their expresso with a little foam.

John Peele

Great coffee . Cool area and a great spot to relax for a bit.
