Yes, you can surf and boogie board here, there are waves . You can't see the waves from the parking lot because the beach slopes down into the water.
I've only seen 3-4 ft waves . I also got tar on my feet which I understand is common on California beaches . Have canola oil or baby oil and paper towels handy to get rid of it
It's such an awesome beach and it also has an amusement park . I wanna live here .
The beach is fine, but the waves are at most 3ft today (memorial day weekend)
