Still a solid choice but new options: nitro cold brew , cascara sodas , hot breakfast sandos (vegan and meat) and of course the coffee is rad. Sparrow pastries ????
FYI: I left a tip here years ago about the single origin espresso . Stumptown has since then discontinued the SOE program in its retail cafes . Have a cortado !
The annex has closed and moved down to industrial SE. The music is still loud , the coffee is still the best in town and the staff almost always friendly and upbeat.
If you head to their location on SE Belmont, you can check out their rare roasts (they can run up upwards of $170 per pound), and even indulge in a free daily coffee tasting at the annex next door . Read more
Love Stumptown . Friendly and courteous staff . Some tables to work at. Total local spot .
A cozy place to grab a great coffee . Do take-out and walk around the tree-lined backstreets, or park yourself at the front window to people-watch.
This particular location bears the kindred soul of third-wave coffee culture. That sparkling rooibos tea though... ¬‿¬
There's always a different featured single origin espresso up in the board. Pay the extra 50¢ or whatever it is these days; it's worth it.
If you just want a great cup of French drip coffee , carry exact change and serve yourself. No wait. If you must have pastries try the raspberry hazelnut scone !
Perfect Latte . Not too milky ...just enough espresso .
Their green teas are very good here. Also the espresso here is a notch above the rest.
The thermostat seems to have been set to "Meat Locker." Perfect for a hot mug of whatever in August! Or a sweater.
Duane Sorenson became a hero in Portland, Oregon, after he opened Stumptown in 1999, thanks to his meticulously sourced coffee and expert roasting skills.
Grab a coffee , get a spot by the window, and do some grade A people watching .
If you buy a bag of beans they will give you a free cup of coffee .
If you're looking for a quiet place to get stuff done, be aware that they BUMP the music here. Either bring great headphones, deal with it, or consider going to the Annex next door .
Get your coffee French-pressed style. Intense.
Try the chocolate cold brew . Yum.
Some of the best cold brew ever!
Check out the local art and order a large triple latte with a Voodoo vegan donut or berry danish and count laptops and mustaches.
Their cup sizes are smaller than other places. Keep this in mind if you're craving that venti cappuccino .
Saturday morning Americano
If you're coming here to study, be forewarned: they are always playing very loud and distracting music .
There is soy and rice milk for your nondairy options!
Don't expect the WiFi to work, or for the seating to be comfortable .
Delicious mochas
Espresso and cold brew
The coffee is kind of overrated and no one is all that friendly . There also aren't a lot of seating options
Best coffee in PDX.
Public cuppings daily at noon and 2pm...
The cool kids sit outside at the tables next to the brick wall when it is nice out.
Oat milk latte . .
Iced Americanos ????
Don't recommend it so noisy and uncomfortable place to drink coffee prefer Starbucks :)
The greatest coffee in America. U better axe somebody...
Pastries are by Nuvrei Bakery--try the chocolate almond croissant .
Best. Coffee . Ever.
