Incredible dining from the gruyere and pepper popovers & crispy oysters for apps to the entrees of steak with the incredible onion jus, duck fat potatoes & the pork chop with corn butter and veggies .
The entire menu changes pretty often (usually seasonally) but everything on it is always amazing. A few vegetarian options and a choice of proteins, plus a lot of gluten-free choices make this great
Reasonably priced and informal but still very fine dining , indeed. Rising star Ned Elliott’s seasonal menu is spare but stunning, with each well-conceived plate coming together in delicious harmony. Read more
Delicious New American: get the popovers , bavette steak , and Parisian gnocchi for a delicious dinner for two.
Always ask for a recommendation from the staff before you order and go with it. You'll get something you wouldn't have and it'll be awesome.
Haven’t been for dinner but they crushed their brunch . Perfect scramble and omelette textures. Pancakes are top decile. Only complaint is the salad was overdressed
Popovers + gnocchi + mushroom creme brûlée - inventive and delicious
This food is just amazing, lived in denmark for 4 years Been at the number 1 rest in the world 3 times and u guys are not far from them... Thanks for my panacotta present just loved it ...
Had the Pastrami , Lamb , bucatini , baby octopus dish dont know which one was the best without mention the chocolate cake and the tapioca panacotta ... Dinner for lífe ;)...as someone díd mention be4..
I ordered the Salt & Time Butcher Shop Pork Belly with Creamed Greens & Links, Blueberries , Pepper Relish . Oh. My. God! So good!!! Heaven on a plate!
I loved the Country Ham w/ goat cheese app & the braised goat was awesome!!!!! The service was awesome and the patio outside was nice, but inside was TOO LOUD !! They seriously need soundproofing!
The smart way they use seasonal ingredients and clever techniques subtly - or pickling makes this place a must visit
The food is definitely rich and different - something for the brave and eclectic . We had the pop overs, jowl, beef tongue , chicken skin salas, squid ink pasta and fried chicken biscuit :)
This restaurant seats only 42 people, but has become a hot spot thanks to the innovative dishes made by Chef Ned Elliot. You'll find dishes such as scrambled pigs brains and venison heart tartare .
Their Saturday bake sale was featured on Unique Sweets and has a waiting queue of 1 hour and the baked goods are sold out in 1 hour or so. It's how highly popular their bake sale is.
Chef Ned Elliott 's inventive seasonal cuisine and wife Jodi's stellar desserts make this neighborhood spot a winner. Also a great for brunch . [Eater 38 Member]
Cute upscale American spot. Get your hands on the chicken biscuit if possible! Found this place on my new Supper app: http://supper.mx/places/foreign-and-domestic-austin/
Amazing menu from apps through desserts ! Also, very generous complementary dishes from the chef ! Great wine and beer specials too!
Unique and original flavors. Really great good. Albariño was delicious too. Only beer and wine
Try the Glazed Shortribs - With Oats , Fermented Greens, Smoked Potatoes , Black Garlic . Amazing flavors, tender beef . Loved the black garlic
Amazing food. Def get the popovers & the whole shebang platter if you have people to split it with - its a lot of food!!
I really enjoyed the root beer bacon ice cream float. The chocolate-covered bacon strip was a little odd, but the float itself was delicious.
Everything. And they have Session. Rotating menu keeps your on your toes in a delicious way.
The glazed short rib was amazing! And you must finish with the lemon parfait - such a great experience:)
Saturday bake is a great way to enjoy the beginning of a weekend. Everything is good but my favorite is the breakfast bread pudding .
Make sure to try as many of the dishes as possible. But the popovers were awesome
Delicious. The beer cocktails , crudo , and lemon dessert were particularly amazing, super flavorful and refreshing.
Awesome food!! This restaurant now on my list of great places in Austin. Get the popovers for an appetizer .
Fois GRAS with port jelly and crushed almonds - stellar! Sit at the counter and talk to chefs ! Amazing innards and nice folks workin hard. Ps chocolate coconut cake = almond joy. Delicious.
Great Brooklyn vibe. Stick to the staples as pasta and funkier stuff ain't go. Ain't good at all. Cyclist Cocktail is awesome.
Eric Silverstein, chef of The Peached Tortilla , eats here on his nights off. He loves the Braised short rib w/ tomato jam . Read more
Food is great but be prepared to shout at your date...too loud & you cannot hear yourself over everyone talking. And the dishes need to be changed, all your cutlery goes crashing to center
Can't go wrong here. Don't leave without trying at least one dessert .
Sitting at the bar by the kitchen offers some fantastic views of the food preparation.
Get a seat at the counter and watch the artists at work!
The chicken biscuit is awesome. The popovers .....eh. Overcooked. Chicken was awesome!!
Everything on he menu looks enticing but don't feel low brow for ordering the hamburger . You won't be sorry.
For brunch , went with the server's suggestion: fried chicken , biscuit and gravy , topped with a fried egg . Excellent!
Food blogger Hank Shaw of Hunter Angler Gardener Cook said he loved the surryano ham and ramp risotto here.
Come earlier than 9am whenever they have their Saturday bake sales . There will be a line .
Show up at 6, after the first wave has settled. You'll get a spot without standing in line .
Great Food. Great wait-staff. However, cold, unwelcoming reception.
One of my all time fav places
Loved the popovers , the fettuccine and the burger !
The crispy pork jowls are amazing. I know... Jowls!
Can't get a reservation ? Just show up 5:30pm when they first open.
Sophisticated menu and outstanding execution. An absolute delight be adventuresome try something you have never had.
Great menu and service. Austin at its best.
Brownie sundae with shoestring fries (and red wine )! Heavenly, people. Try it.
Overhyped. Overpriced. It's not bad, but I really really wanted to love it. I think I'm more upset that I didn't like it than with the food. I think they got full of themselves. Or an off night.
As expected, the meat is excellent. Everything else was tasty, too! Great service. - Katie Brown
Pastrami-cured salmon with pickled red onions and creme fraiche is amazing. The Brussels sprouts taste like candy. This is not a bad thing. It's also not a healthy thing. Overall amazing: just go! - Eliza Chang
Great for vegetarians. Biscuits, pimento cheese, jeweled rice, crispy cauliflower all excellent!! - Kat F
Amazing cocktails. Try the Vieux Carre or The Right Hand. Bar food is a cut above. Very busy on Fridays and weekends. Can be standing room only. - Rachel Lasseter
Creative and delicious craft cocktails at a reasonable price. The menu changes weekly. It's tiny so try going on Sunday for happy hour and have the place to yourself. - Sarah C
best in beers, drinks, food and staff. the perfect mix of regulars and new folks who will be regular soon. - Jeff Kehoe
