Buena Vista Park

Oldest park in the city , but somehow in 2016 qualifies as a "hidden gem ." Beautiful historic paths , great views , lush understory, fairytale sunsets , and a mystical spookiness when the fog rolls in.

Beautiful hike with a nice view of the city ! You can see the Golden Gate Bridge from the top!

Visit on a misty morning and you'll feel like you're in a fairy tale, as the city fades away.

Excellent views on the north side and quite a pleasant dog run towards the Upper Haight

The large pink building seen from the park on Buena Vista East is Park Hill Condominiums. It was once St. Joseph Hospital . The building was used in the Alfred Hitchcock movie Vertigo.

This park has an ok view of the Golden Gate Bridge but it is highly obstructed by trees . Also...I didn't realize the surround neighborhood on the west side is a bit unsafe!

Would be better if they copped down some of the trees at the top so you could see the view .

I got married in this park ! Come for the views and hiking , ignore the transients doing meth.

Be sure to thank the volunteer gardeners . You'll never see a group of neighbors take care of their public space like this.

Walk to the top of the park and around the gardens for great views of SF.

Watch out for coyotes!

Don't try going down the unpaved paths , they can be a lot steeper than they appear.

Best entrance is to walk up 16th St. and make a right on Flint... entrance is near the dead end. Enjoy the "good view " -- this park is named quite literally!

Check out the gutters along the main paths . Reused headstones from moved cemeteries .

I love it when it rains and the people living in the the park desend from the hillside and take cover. it's like watching a nature show!

Me and Rich play a game where were superheroes and we have to stop chuck the bad guy! That's a nice boardwalk and a really cool tennis court .🎾 there is also a playground and that's very cool.😎

Great place to watch the sun set.

Come here a lot to walk my dog and always feel safe, but a man just got stabbed here at 10 am! Scary.

Another hike I need to make time for, if only it weren't so blasted cold there most of the time. And I weren't already heading over to Upper Haight to shop or sell something.

Don't come here at night unless it's to catch Pokemon

30 minutes well-spent

3G service is spotty at the top if the park , although my dig Gracie doesn't seem to mind. Lots to sniff. 

Beautiful views of San Francisco.

Take a friend's dog to the top of the park and enjoy the view . But don't go after dark.

Do not come to san francisco without visiting this park .

Great to play tennis , but beware there are only two courts and they aren't lit.

Парк находится на небольшем холме ,откуда видно небольшую часть города .Тихо и спокойно.из минусов: есть бомжи,из за чего на некоторых тропах присутствуют заппхи.

Yürüyüş için harika. Yalnız çakallar geziyormuş aman dikkat. Yukarıdaki manzara çok övülüyor. Golden Gate köprüsü uzaktan görünüyor doğru
