Bring a knife. The customer base is the shadiest, scariest bunch of degenerates. I've seen fights, arguments (between customers and staff ), seen a woman spit her gum right on the floor, shoplifting .

Best time to shop is in the morning unless you want to watch live line rage wrestling.

This is the worst Safeway on planet Earth. After 7pm, only 3 registers are open (and that's being optimistic). Expect long lines and upset shoppers. Also, the produce sucks nearly 100% of the time.

Worst Safeway ever! U have to wait for a person to bring the key to the restroom . 10 mins now! At night only 1 checker is open. Terrible selection and they change their inventory weekly. Stay away!!!!

Super scary...Staff and customers. DON'T use the restrooms . No toilet paper and pee all over toilet seat and floor. Staff is rude and very short when they speak

Also, don't buy anything frozen - it will be rotten by the time you get out of here.

I hate this safeway with a purple passion. They are severely understaffed and sell outdated goods. I fantasize about another option going here .... Or they could just upgrade it already!

Possibly the WORST Safeway in existence. Never staffed. Always gross.

Don't do it! I can't believe there's still a grocery store this bad in SF. Vitamin, organic and health food selection is terrible.

Dont believe the constant stream of shit talk from these bougie fucks. This is just a normal grocery store . Not great, just fine. I have never waited in line an abnormal amount of time.
